Base building.

After Danny knew he couldn't quit, he decided not to panic, there was no point in panicking after all, so instead he decided to set up his lab tent 244 meters away from the river, he is planning to build a base and shelter, he already nicknamed his base plan 'The Majestic Base Plan' before he even starts to draw on his blueprints.

Inside the tent, while sitting down, Danny is drawing out the plans for the base of his.

"Hmm, so how should I build it?" He was asking out loud about what the appearance of the base should be, its as if he was asking the table a question.

'I would like to build a wide and impressive fortress, that is made out of ferroconcrete, but I'm not sure if I have enough materials to build one, the material type I need the most are ceramic materials.'

Each material type, such as mineral, ceramic, synthetic, and organic -of course, there is more than just those four- can be converted into anything as long as it's from the same material type, for example: Mineral materials can be converted into metals, or alloys; ceramic materials can be converted into construction materials, in other words, bricks, cement, concrete, any kind of glass, powders, crystals, or non-metal elements in general; synthetic materials can be converted into plastics and polymers; and organic materials can be converted into any organic substance or matter, for example wood, amino acids, protein or anything hydrocarbonic.

'The gravity array gun does indeed have mining purposes, but it is not as good as a mining laser, a mining drill or a jackhammer, that is unless if the gravity array is as powerful as the ones used in mining vehicles and stations.'

The mining vehicles Danny thought about were colossal in size, they were much bigger than a five story building, and are powerful enough to rip out comparably small pieces of a mountain, that would be huge when comparing it to an elephant, and were generally used to mine asteroids. However the gravity array gun that Danny has is only strong enough to dig out materials from soft grounds, such as: soil, sand, clay, etc.

...

He precisely draws out the plans which only just took him a half an hour.

However, before he starts to build his base, he will need the necessary materials that he's lacking.

'I guess I'll have to make a cement plant first.'

In the actual game there would be certain NPCs that would sell materials in exchange for money, there are vending machines that also do the same thing, just like a vending machine should do.

[+25,000 General XP]

10 minutes has passed and Danny has made a miniature version cement plant, even though it was miniature in comparison to the original size, the important part is that it is big enough to make cement.

His building abilities are enhanced due to his stats complementing his [Engineering] skill, moreover he can earn experience by building things.

'Alrighty then, all I just need is the raw materials, there are different materials I could use to make the cement, hmm, perhaps I should go with this combination: Limestone, clay, and gypsum to help it harden.'

'Limestones should be found in shallow water, clay is generally found mainly on or near the surface of the Earth, and gypsum should appear in either sedimentary rock formations, or as sediments carried in rivers and deposited in lakes and oceans. Limestones too can also be carried as sediments by a river.'

...

A half an hour later, thanks to his gravity array gun, Danny now has all the necessary raw materials to make the certain amount of cement, it wasn't hard at all as all of these raw materials are quite abundant.

Danny unhesitatingly put the raw materials into the input side of the Cement plant.

'The sooner I start to build my base, the better.' His passion for creation and construction are way off the charts!

The raw materials quickly became cement at the other side of the plant, in just three and a half minutes!

Everything seemed good to go.

But before Danny starts constructing his base, he firstly decides to put his experience points to use by putting them into his two passion-able classes.

Danny usually spends his XP on his level the moment he earns, which made him wonder at that moment as this feels a little unusual for him, now he's wondering why he even would have that thought in the first place.

He first summoned his character sheet, which he then pressed on the [Up-level] option next to his [Engineer] class, an option that wasn't there the whole time, it only appeared when you have the sufficient amount of XP.

The moment he pressed the [Up-level] option, the interface responded with:

______________________________________________

Would you like to spend [1,250 General XP] to up-level the [Engineer] class?

[Engineer] -----> [Engineer] Level: 1

[Yes] [No]

Gain [+1 Intelligence] Attribute point.

______________________________________________

He immediately pressed the [Yes] option, which immediately drained the 1,250 XP from his original amount.

[Successfully leveled up.]

Moreover, he up-leveled his [Engineer] class two more times, so now his [Engineer] class is currently level 3, each level doubles from the previous level, so in other words, it will go like this:

1,250 XP (level 1)

2,500 XP (level 2)

5,000 XP (level 3)

10,000 XP (level 4)

And it continues until the class reaches level 20, which is where the class's max level is capped at, this is also where you will be able to advance to the next class, which you will have a few options to pick from.

He also leveled up his [Scientist] class to level 3; his total amount of XP was now at [7,500 General XP]. His [Intelligence] stat is now at 28 points.

He feels that he is now ready to start his main and personally set task.

'Alright time to start building my ravishing industrial fortress!' He thought to himself.

And thus he started to build his lovely fortress.

...

10 days later.

Danny finally built up his base... With no rest.
