He looks confused at first.
'Special quest? What so good about a quest if it does not even work.'
He glares at the windows. Another thing popped up, and it kept going he read it all before everything disappeared. He realised here was paper laying around, remembering that he had done something with it.
He grabs a pen from the table and scribbles everything down. He sighs and looks at the windows one final time before it completely vanishes. He shakes his head and sees what he wrote.
"This quest will be different from the others that you have gotten."
Kumas glared at that statement.
'Useless quests, I barely got any so stop it.'
"This quest will make be able to choose a skill out of three options and you will also get an additional 500 exp granted to you."
'Levels are useless as I don't know what the purpose are, except for notifications but still.'
"This is the quest: Everybody in the school will speak a foreign language you can not speak. You will live in this position for 24 hours once you except this quest."
Kumas looked seriously and announced," I accept the quest."
Glad he written it down, he saw the window appear again. A time limit was set up counting down from twenty four hours, he set up a comical smile, happy he did it at the start, then he checked something. The time was seven o'clock on a clock, placed weirdly on a corner.
Kumas did not bother discussing to himself why it was there, there were a few things spotted round the place, but he acted not to care. He was curious how this worked or if it even worked. He moved up and exited the room, then he wondered if somebody found him at this time, what would they do?
'Would they be nice about it? Should I test it out? Oh man, this sucks really, it just makes everything more suspicious, what happens if teachers start asking me, or they start talking to me?'
Kumas started to realise with the quest he had just excepted, it hit him later like getting injured while having adrenaline pumping through your body.
'I don't think the adrenal glands can help me with that.'
He snickered a bit by his own little joke. Outside the classroom, he looked at the ceiling, above him was another upstairs which had classrooms in them. He would go to them, it was the same like this place, except that it had a few more classes, but they were smaller rooms. No third floor, and this did not carry on across the other part of the school.
He breathed in and looked at himself, going back in to the room. He did not bother looking around for a person, he did not even bother thinking up a plan, he just went to bed, in a cuddled-up with a subdued face on.
It was morning, it came fast and dangerously. He had his eyes open and heard footsteps. He was about to be mad at that person for stamping their feet across the table, however, he noticed that they were entering this room.
With quick but slowed down morning reflexes, he jumped up under the table. Even though there were chairs in the way, he was thin enough to slip through. They entered, turning the lights on. He looked around, and Kumas saw, seeing him tilt his feet. He pointed them a bit longer at the area he was sleeping at. He started walking over. He thought he was still tired because when the man spoke, it sounded like gibberish.
Kumas remembered about the quest. He bent down, it was a man who was pretty tall, but when he bent down, he was enough to look under the table and see him. Kumas shuddered that he quietly crept away. He made sure he had everything and with him, and moved. Then he listened to the guys words, even though he did not understand it, a few words he could, and he heard a name.
"Silvee hamesha apane doston ko apane saath laatee hai, kya vah saaph nahin kar sakatee, oh silvee, kaash main usake saath hota to main usake baad saaph kar paata!"
He erupted it pretty loudly, which made him take the perfect opportunity to make a run for it. The door was closed and when he slipping through, he made a noise.
Bang.
Not as loud, but enough to gain attention, since he was caught, he took the chance.
"Vahaan kaun hai!"
It was weird hearing it from another language, he knocked, pretending he was waiting. He got up and and brushed himself off. He opened the door and in front of him stood a great tall mighty guy, black hair, black eyes and glasses. It was taunting.
"Namaste main aapako kaise madad kar sakata hun."
Kumas went in and asked, "I am looking for Silvy, I need to ask her something, about class."
He stared, a sweat rolled down him.
"Silvee yahaan nahin hai mujhe lagata hai ki aapako vaapas lautana hoga, ya kaksha mein usase milana hoga."
"Mhm, ok, thank you."
He left and and the guy closed the door, leaving the area.
'Oh man, he understood me.'
He asked about Silvy, so if they were able to be understood, he asked something about her, if he answered with her name and he did not give a weird facial expression, it showed he understood him.
'That's good then. I can still speak to people.'
That was at the time his biggest worry, for him not to be understood, then it would have gone confusing from there. He walked round, not knowing where to go, he wanted to just go him, but then he got curious again.
'Will the timer go down even if I am outside the school? Well, I can't check, open timer?'
He really did not expect anything to appear so when something did, he was pleased.
'Finally something useful.'
He saw the time got down, he had started at 7 o' clock if he remembered correctly.
'Or was it eight?'
He shook his head, hoping he was not confused. He exited out through the entrance close to the stair and the council area, hoping he would not meet with that guy again.
'He really is weird, especially if I can't understand him.'
He opened the door and checked if he was still on property.
'Open timer, I still am huh.'
He kept on moving down outside and he moved out, he moved forward and pushed. He saw the open gate, a few were entering, he forgot to check the time so he guessed it was closing the class close.
He was pretty far now, after entering and before leaving completely he looked at time, then moved out of the area, he was around where he got had by Billy before at the beginning, it was sure that the system would not work there.
He stayed there for a minute, memorising what the time, was, he looked around, doing something pointless. He checked a few things and when he re-entered and checked the time, it had stopped, not passing time while he was outside.
'Oh man, that is good and bad, I have to complete this, might as well today.'
He entered the school again and went to his lesson where he is meant to. He started thinking how to perfectly avoid everybody in the school, teachers not noticing him and staying in the school while doing all of it.
'I can't leave the school since I can't listen to the teachers, there is no point being in class, should I bunk. Stay in the toilet?'
He sighed when he sat down, he hoped people would avoid him, luckily enough, he could tell his name apart.
'Kumas seems easy enough to tell.'
He looked around, seeing with a sharp glare, and looking out for anything. Another thought went over and over, he wanted to leave and just stay in the toilet.
'No point listening to them if I can't understand them.'
What would happen If I had this situation for the rest of my life, where I did not understand him at all? This is getting too philosophical for me, just hide in the toilet.'
He got up and with a few minutes to when the school started, he went to the toilet. He was also mindful of what the other people in the class would say, but since they ignored him before, they might ignore him again.
He moved back and he saw a dangerous flame in the corner. He blinked a few times and the teacher walked in. She said something and it had his name in it. He looks confused as she says his name.
He bit his lip, she was looking at him, more of a deadly glare, staring down on him, he felt the pressure as it crushed him.
'Oh man.'
