55 Declaration

This truly went on for too long. I thought, sitting outside in the cold air as Yale attempted to wipe the dried blood littered all over my face and body. Some were not even dry yet.

"You need to rest." Yale kept insisting the moment they kicked us out of the building.

I did not want to be there a second longer so I asked her if we could go somewhere else instead. She scolded me but complied, helping me to put on my shirt first as the airbrushed against the open wounds on my skin, making me wince in pain.

"I wish they gave us something to treat you or at least give us a couple of minutes before throwing us out like that," Yale mumbled, holding me up with her arms while I tried not to lean on her too much.

"Sorry. That must have been difficult to watch." I said as we made it out of the gates and into the long-empty streets.
