Ha-joon walked out of the college building: An exhausted expression crossed over his face.
"Hey...you..." A voice called from behind.
Turning around: He came face to face with the last person he was expecting: Hyun.
"We need to talk". Hyun stalked over to him.
Ha-joon's fight or flight sensors were on full alert. All he could think of were ways he could out-run this guy.
Hyun stood there and just stared at him. An uncomfortable silence rushed over the two.
Ha-joon thought back to 3 days ago when he-.
He shook his head: He didn't even want to think about that!
Yet here he stood.
Ha-joon cautiously spoke.
"About....what?" He tried to smile.
He studied the Alpha's face. He seemed to actually be uncomfortable. He wore a weary expression: His gaze shooting from Ha-joon to the side and then back. He looked like he wanted to say somthing important.
Getting a little nauseous: Ha-joon slowly started to turn around.
"I'm just gonna go.. and--"
"WAIT!" Hyun ordered.
Ha-joon froze.
"What's with this guy..."
Hyun frowned.
"Give me your phone."
"I don't have one".
*ding ding*
Ha-joon received a text.
Glaring: Hyun reached out and snatched Ha-joons phone from his front pocket.
Ha-joon was baffled.
"there goes my phone..." He said crying to himself. "Way to get robbed..." He thought in defeat.
Hyun tapped on Ha-joons phone and then pulled out his own. There was an audible noise from both devices and Hyun tossed Ha-joons phone back at him.
"I added you" He told him.
Ha-joon looked at the screen. There it was.
"w-wait a second why-"
But Hyun had just walked by him and left.
Standing there stunned: Ha-joon couldn't help but drop his jaw.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ABOUT?!" He yelled.
----
Jong was finishing up in the lab: grabbing his bag he turned to leave.
"Oh! Hyun!"
Hyun stood in the doorway. hands in his jacket pockets.
"what am I even doing?" Hyun walked in and slumped in one of the chairs.
"No. please. do come in. it's not like I Have a family at home waiting for me" Jong softly sighed: Setting his bag back down.
"Did you do it?" Jong whispered with a sly smirk.
Hyun just looked away"
"Well you passed the hardest part! So? How did you do it? Did you confess your undying love?" Jong threw his arm around his friend.
"What are you going on about you old man?"
"we're the same age you know" Jong poked Hyuns cheek.
Slapping Jongs hand away.
"I took his phone and gave him my contact info."
Jong paused.
"You...TOOK? his phone?"
"You mean you asked him for his contact info like a civilized person and he gave it to you?" Jong studied his face.
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" Jong nearly fell.
"All I imagine now is you scaring the poor guy".
Hyun scratched his cheek.
"Hyung, You are a 27 year old man. How have you become so uncivilized", Jong dramatically wept on his lab coat.
Hyun remained silent. He knew he messed up.
"I don't even know WHAT to say to him, Can't you help me Jong?"
Jong sighed and crossed his arms.
"Considering you are just gonna crash and burn...I guess I don't have a choice."
----
At the apartment: Ha-joon had just finished up his general studies for the college classes. Marking the calander, he would shadow Jong in the labs 2 days a week while the other remaining 3 would be held in the general classes.
Tomorrow would be his official first day as a student. The excitement was real.
*ding*
"Oh a text!"
And all that excitement crashed in a burning inferno.
At the top the name read: Hyun.
"Hey".
Ha-joon just stared at the letters.
"If I was smart I would just block him." He tried convincing himself as he pulled up the red delete button.
"Though...he could be the type to beat me up if I did that..." He gulped. Moving his thumb from the screen.
He could picture it now.
"Well I could always just ignore it."
He stared at the text again.
"AGH! why is this so hard!" He scratched his head ferociously.
He turned the screen off and set his phone next to him.
*Ding*
"Another message?"
He swiped his finger across the screen.
He had a glowered look on his face.
"It's me."
One again the name Hyun popped up.
"It's only been a few minutes since the last one, maybe he needs somthing?"
Hyun smacked his forehead.
"you moron. you don't even know him and he doesn't even know you."
All of a sudden his phone was bombarded with message after message. only this time. . .
Ha-joon stared at the messages on screen. There were cut off sentences, a mess of letters that made no sense. Almost as if a cat had walked across a keyboard.
"What in the world..." Ha-joon slowly set his phone far from him like it was about to bite him.
---
"LET GO OF MY PHONE!!"
Hyun and Jong wrestled with eachother, both grabbing for Hyun's phone.
"Just let me help you!" Jong snapped as his fingers grazed the phone screen.
"NO! you'll end up sending weird shit!" Hyun snapped back as he held the phone over their heads.
They both fought a little longer until the phone was knocked from Hyun's hand and slid under one of the lab tables.
Hyun kicked Jong down and nose dived for the device.
He took notice of the screen.
The jumbled messages that had been sent. 15 in total.
Hyun just slumped to the floor.
Jong looked over his shoulder and grimaced.
"Yikes...that doesn't make you look good huh?" He chuckled.
Hyun snapped his head around with a look of death.
"HYUN HYUN! don't worry I can fix this. just don't send any more messages." He threw his hands up and backed away.
"I promise!"
"A loyal promise from your friend" He added.
Hyun gave in.
"Jong...if I fail at this..."
"you won't".
