10. The Ring
As Harry walked to class he felt the many stares of the people around him. The stared at him profusely with confused and questioning looks. The staring made it hard for him to focus. They were having a quiz potion soon, this wasn't the time for him to go off track.
He pretended not to feel the stares on his back and tried to keep up with the professor's lesson.
It was only when he ate lunch with Ron and Hermione he'd realize why everyone was staring at him so much.
"Is there something going on between you and Draco?" Ron asked out of the blue. Harry choked his juice, Luna siting right next to him patted his back. He said a quick thanks to Luna then picked up a napkin and wiped the juice off him giving Ron a better view of a ring Harry was wearing.
It was silver with a snake on, something that had made Ron even more suspicious was that the initials D.M. Were carved into it. "What makes you think that?" Harry said trying to keep his voice stable
"You're wearing his shirt, and his ring." Ron said gesturing to the silver ring on Harry's ring finger. "First, Ron it can be anybody's shirt, and second how would you know if it's his ring?"Harry asked
"Harry I'm not stupid, that shirt's Christopher Magnolis, sorry mate but I don't think I've ever seen you wear such a luxury brand, everyone knows that Christopher Magnolis is Draco's favorite luxury brand, and that ring is so obviously Draco's it has the slytherin symbol and it has Draco initials on it." Ron replied
Hermione had a blank stare as if she was saying these say things in her head. "What if there his?"
Ron seemed dumbfounded by Harry's response. Harry got up and shot a sharp look at Malfoy and told his friends his was going to the bathroom. Ron had felt uneasy because it had been only a few seconds before Draco followed Harry in a rush.
Ron told Hermione he was also going to the bathroom Hermione gave Ron a strange look. He quietly went into the the bathroom making sure it was not known he was there, he heard two voices he could tell right away that it was Harry and Draco he stood around the wall and moved his head a little forward so he could see what was going.
Harry was pinned to the wall by Draco making Harry seem really small and short, he seemed upset. "You have got the whole school looking at me like I'm some crazy psycho that's escaped the asylum!" Harry yelled, Draco chuckled "Well didn't you say I could ask for anything?" Harry folded his arms and looked to the side. Draco gave him a smirk. " Or did you want me to ask for this?" Draco said using his right hand to turned Harry so that he was facing him.
What happened left Ron stunned, had he seen correctly? Had Draco just kiss Harry? He gasped but quickly covered his mouth with his hands. Luckily they hadn't heard him. "Prat" Harry said using his palm to push Draco's forehead he went to wash his hands Draco slid into the space between the sinks and smiled at Harry.
"Let me take you out." He said "On a date? officially?" Harry asked Draco nodded. Harry tapped his cheek "Hmm let me think about it." He said "Come one don't be so afraid." Draco said Ron had heard enough he quickly Ron out the door forgetting to close it quietly causing the sound to alert the boys that someone had eavesdropped on their conversation.
