33 第32章: Titania's Farewell

Erza!!! They All shouted in Unison as they ran towards her and she welcomes them in her arms with a smile. They gathered around her, Wendy was hugging her and buried her face into Erza's sobbing. Lucy was trying her best not to shed a tear. Erza brushes Wendy's hair lightly as she wraps her other arm around her and flashes a genuine heart warming smile to her nakamas.

"Erza, fight me!!!" Natsu screamed pointing a finger at her while his other hand rested on his hips. Erza shook her head and smiled before saying "you don't want to die now, do you?" Then she lets a small amount of reiatsu out just enough to scare the salmon head.

Natsu's hands tremble and his eyes water as he raises his hands towards the Scarlet Reaper. Something was behind her power and it was scarier than anything he can think of. His body feels hot and sweat starts trickling down his neck. He balled his fist. With every move he makes, he gets more and more terrified. His breath quickens as he hear her voice "What's wrong Natsu? Cat's got your tongue?" And forms a challenging smirk. Suddenly everything is silent and his simple mind can not process everything he witnesses. He was awaken from his trance by a hand on his shoulders.

Everyone felt the same thing and went through what Natsu felt. Gray clears his throat before speaking "Erza is more powerful than ever" and smirks at her as he removed his hands on the dragon slayer's shoulder. "I guess we won't be seeing you again after this, right?" He said forming a smile but the sadness is evident on his eyes. "Yes, I won't be seeing you guys any time soon. I no longer belong here and I need to do something very important to where I am right now and no one is allowed to die, you all hear me?" She said the last part with her dark aura and killer death stare.

"Aye sir" everyone responded in unison with a salute and everyone broke into laughter "That's our Titania for you" Gray commented. "Natsu take care of FairyTail for me or suffer forever" she said sternly and he nodded. "Gray, keep Natsu in check, you're the only one who I can count on with this task" she said with a nodd "of course" he confirmed. Then Natsu and Gray's face suddenly crashed into something soft and bouncy. Erza has pulled them towards her in a hug. "Lucy, take care of Natsu and Juvia I leave Gray into your care" she said as she released them from her arms. Juvia was extatic and giggles frantically you can literally see hearts in her eyes "Y-yes Erza sama Juvia san will take care of Gray sama and love him forever and make him happy, Juvia san promise to Erza sama" the Scarlet smiled and nodded in return.

Only the ones Leo casted his magic upon can see her. "Bring me to master Macarov I want to see him before I leave, no one can see me except you guys so better not act suspiciously at the guild hall" she commanded and she was lead to the guild. They entered this office and Macarov swing his chair behind the desk to face them "What do you need from me brats" he asked teasingly. "Wendy, cast a spell, use Spirior to the master so he can see like you do" Erza said sternly. Wendy was dumb struck her face blank of expression "eh?!? Erza Sana I'm sorry but I don't know what Spirior is" she said shyly.

Erza looked at her with soft eyes and chuckled "Spirior is a conceptual enchantment. It is a spiritual arts technique" she explained. Wendy just stared at her in amazement trying to process what she just heard. "Can I really do such a thing Erza sama?" She asked innocently which earned her a smirk from scarlet as she nodded. She crossed her arms across her chest as she began explaining in details "it's simple, you know how ethernano is required to use magic, right?" Wendy nodded "well, reiatsu which is known to mages as spiritual arts has a similar factor to magic. All you have to do is to focus your spiritual energy, take it in and enchant your magic with it." Wendy smiled at her as she nodded in agreement "I'll give it a try" wendy closed her eyes and extended her arms in both directions "a power different from ethernano but similar to magic? That's it, I got it now!!" She opened her eye and extended both her arms to the short old man "conceptual enchant: spiritual arts- Spirior!!!"

Makarov was engulfed in blinding bright light and when it subside he was surprised to see Erza in front of him smiling. "Well, done wendy" she said patting her head lightly. "Thank you Erza sama I always learn from you" she was pulled by the red head into a hug. She looked at the old man "Master, it's been a while"

"Erza?!?" He said almost in a whisper with his eyes full of questions "how did you... I saw you... We" he trailed off. "I am alive but not physically, I somehow lived in another world" she said smiling and tears started falling from his eyes "the guild was never the same without you, my child" he said as Erza came to him and hugged her old man "what are you doing here brat?" He asked in between sobs. "I came because someone tries to hurt the guild to get to me and I will never let that happen" she said with determination in her eyes. "Fairy tail is strong you don't have to bother yourself" he said confidently "I know master" she said while straightening her self up "but this time it's different, the ones whom I'm against is not wielding magic but Spirior or reiatsu as we call it" she explained further "I assure you that this won't happen again, I won't let anyone hurt my Nakaka, my family" she said with a smile "this is the last time we'll see each other, unless anyone of you dies and prove me your unworthy of being a fairy" she turned around to face the other with a challenging smirk.

"Master, please take care of theses dumbasses for me and make sure fairy tail stays warm safe and a place of happiness and laughter" she said as she unsheathed her zanpakutō to open the senkaimon but found herself immobilized by a pair of arms wrapped around her from behind. She felt his cold hands and bare chest as the person rested his chin on her right shoulder. She can feel the tears dripping on her shihakusho. "Erza" the masculine voice that she recognized said breaking almost sounding weak. "I will wait for you to return to me, you will return, right?" He asked full of sorrow and uncertainty. She removed his hands on her as she turned to face him. She caressed his mositen cheeks with her thumb and wiped his tears with it as he rested his face towards the palms of her hand to feel her touch cupping his face in response as she makes him look at her. Once again his black orbs got lost in her brown honey tinted eyes.

"Gray, thank you for always being by my side ever since we were kids. I hate to admit it that if it weren't for Hella I might have gone crazy over you like Juvia. But I no longer belong here. There is something more, something bigger that I have to accomplish as my duty. I have to keep you safe and make sure you have a future. You will always have a special place in my heart." She said in a call and steady voice trying her best to keep her composure and not to cry. She wants to say a lot more but thought that it would be best to keep it short since she is actually saying goodbye. "You don't have to wait for me for I will never return" she took a few steps away from him and took his necklace. "I will keep this and give it back to your kid, set me free Gray and learn to love someone else and when that happens I'll return this to your child" she said almost like demanding and challenging.

Gray balled his fist and formed a faint smile on his face and in a split second grabbed the red head by her waist and held her face by his free hand as he captured her lips. The kiss was gentle yet passionate not dominating yet needy and hungry with a hint of greed. It didn't took her long enough to kiss him back which made him grunt in frustration. Lucy took Wendy and covered her eyes. After a moment that seemed like eternity the two broke the kiss, the man stood there frozen as the red head flashed a genuine smile that made her looked even more beautiful to the ice mage. She opened the senkaimon and before she stepped in Gray shouted "Erza, I have loved you and will always love you, so if you can't return that necklace, wait for me and I will get it myself" Erza smirked without looking back and stepped in as her body was engulfed by a blinding white light and disappeared.

Gray get his knees become weak and can't breath as he fell to his knees and started crying. Makarov went out trying his best to look strong followed by Wendy and Lucy who gave Natsu a knowing look. Natsu went to sit beside his friend and placed a hand on his shoulders patting it lightly trying to comfort him by letting him know that he's there for him.

Erza now reappeared in Karakura Town. "I hope I'm not too late" she whispered to no one in particular and started jumping from roof to roof trying to trace Rukia's reiatsu that is fading quickly. "Kuso!"
