The Birth Given in Sacrifice  

As Lanthios held onto that sleepy lamb his notice, its color began to fade, the brightness in its eyes dulled down to that of a light red orange, while its fur that was like it was coated in flames but a moments ago, now looks like a light shade of white. When the boy was done inspecting the baby lamb, he looked up to see the mother lamb had vanished without a trace, only leaving behind empty chains and a bloody pool.

Confused, the boy looked all around the basements but to his disappointment he didn't see the beauty of the sheep women anymore. So not wanting to be down there any longer he began to head back up the stairs when he heard his dad call!

Panicking, the boy ran to his room and placed the baby sheep there, for he did not want his father to see it yet, for he didn't even know why they had a strange looking woman locked up in the basement dwelling of their home. Or more so how his father would react to her giving him her baby.

But as he raced back down to where his father was, he heard the most horrific scream that he had ever heard! Shell shocked, the boy stood there as he watched a giant monster that looked like a cross between a sheep with wolves' teeth, with charcoal black fur and raging red flames that coated its outer appearance!

With his father dangling between his teeth the boy ran to pick up his wood sword on the floor and pointed right at the raging beast that was eating his father alive! [ see comments at end for picture]

Scared but with nowhere else to go the boy held strong as he yelled [let my father go] to the beast. To which his father said through gushing blood and pissed pants [No son run! Run as fast as you can!] But just as he squeezed those words out the monster bit down and with a crunch bite the father in two!

Scared, the boy could do nothing as the monster slowly approached him! With panicked eyes, the boy watched as the monster was about to chew his head when his mother came running in at the last second knocking him away! "Crunch" was all the boys could hear as his mother's blood painted itself onto his little face! It was at this moment the boy remembered his father's story!

Within, raging voice the boy yelled [shepherds!!!] And as he yelled the monster was going to set him a blaze when a wolf as bright white as the blister light of the sun came running up and gnawing at the sheep's back!

As the two monsters fought, they slaughtered cows, pigs, chicken and scores of other farm animals! As one set the fields ablaze another would bathe it in light! As the fighting continued with the sheep getting weaker as the fight progressed as his element was so weak against the light that shone off the white wolf.

With blood dripping between its teeth and wool all shredded, the sheep looked towards the house and dashed to it! It ignored the wolf's claws, its bites, its magical light, for it only had one thing on its mind!

But as it approached the house the small boy got up to stand between the two for it was the boy home… his family… with a wooden sword he pointed… with a wooden sword he swore to stay! Just as the sheep monster was going to run over him, a spear came flying from the sky. Oh, bright and shiny star the spear sank deep within the flesh of the monster! With desperate screams it cried as it looked towards the house's upper floor! When it dissipated into dust and shadows, with a single tear it gave, that now dropped to the floor in a magnificent dark color. As the boy bent down to pick up the tear, heard a voice call to him!

[Hey brat! Where's your father David? Wasn't he the farm head?] said the strange man dressed in full plate armor. [ see picture at end}

The boy didn't answer with words for he went and sat with what was left of his mother and father! Seeing the boy's reaction and what he was doing the knight didn't continue his inquiry, but did say:

[boy don't worry the kingdom will inform your uncle of these events for surely he will come to live with you, for he is about to retire from the military anyway.]

noticing the boy didn't want to continue listening or was even listening from the begging the strange knight mount the big wolf and said:

[boy if you can hear me and desire strength so that you will never feel like you do now again come join the academy for in direr times like these the school is accepting everyone who is willing, for the future of our kingdom desires it!]

After saying what he had to the strange knight looked around for a bit to finish scoping the place out before suddenly leaving to report back to his superiors. The boy now alone holding the corpses of his parents, as if he could still hear their voice but a few hours ago... But as he was going down memory lane, he heard a cry come from the upper room!

With furious anger the boy ran upstairs with sharpened glass in hand! As he stood there staring at the baby sheep who was crying for food the boy's turmoil mind was at the edge of breaking for, he wanted revenge, but he couldn't get the image of the woman who gave her child to him with such loving eyes!

But he raised that sharpened glass above that baby neck he heard a faint whisper, so soft was the voice that anyone, would have thought it was but an illusion of the mind. The voice said:

{is this what you want to be? A child killer? Tho I know you are suffering inside more than anyone, for you knew the love that parents gave, but remember this child will never know that warmth, even more so that her destiny path will be leaden with more hardship and terror than you can ever imagine! In this dying world where life is but a mere afterthought can't you let her live, for if you do so I promise you will not regret it! For in time, he will be the rock that you will find solace in!}

After a pause the voice continued: {Do you remember the story? The story that was left half finished… well you have the chance to finish that story and to give it the ending you desire… will you end the story as the dying world would have it or will you give it your happy ending… but I leave you with this, form one mother sacrifice to another, we gave everything to give our child another day… will you give her another day?}
