Everyone was getting ready at my house. The girls did everyone’s hair and makeup, prom might not turn out the way I expected, but the weekend did. Elena put the necklace on me, which Ryan gave me. It had a row of diamonds and matching earrings. They must have cost a fortune.

They pulled my hair into a tight bun, showing the slimness of my neck. My dress was strapless, flowing down to the floor, and it’s a perfect fit. I slipped my feet into the red suede pumps and spritz on some perfume. I looked in the mirror, admiring the finished product. I grabbed my purse and made my way down the stairs. The guys smiled, and Ryan stood there in awe.

I walked over to him, sliding my arm around his. He leaned over and whispered, /"You’re stunning./"

I blushed. /"Well, you’re handsome yourself./"

He smiled.

/"Okay, everyone, get together for pictures!/" Mom ordered us.

/"Ugh, Mom, we’ll be late!/" I yelled.
