Rain Dynasty

Lin Fan took out the [Sacred Law Manuals] Tome and tied a string around the pages so it wouldn't make any noise.

It was still in a [contemptuous] state towards him, but at least it wasn't the [hostile] state so he didn't attack Lin Fan directly and just insisted on turning away from him. He had to rub its pages and point to a few demi-gods waiting at the bottom of cloud mountain to try and get it to stop moving in his binding as the sound of soldiers laughing pervaded in the background.

"I'm going to go kill some people to show you I'm not only a hacker..." Lin Fan said as he pet the book and looked towards the soldiers in the distance. "If you can just give me a chance, I'll show you that I'm worthy of learning what's inside your pages..."

"Rah Rah!" The book made a sound of complaint as it shook its head...

Han Zhou finally sighed and walked over to the tome and picked it out of Lin Fan's arms. To Lin Fan's surprise, the book seemed almost happy to be held by Han Zhou and didn't try to fight the urge to hit him at all...

[The Sacred Law Manuals Tome seems to sense something it likes in Han Zhou and has a [friendly] state towards him. It should be fine to leave the book with Han Zhou at a safe distance from you...]

Lin Fan wanted to slam his hand into the top of the book, but decided against it as Han Zhou and the book seemed to both take a liking to each other. He sighed and took out a few of his new weapons called the [Rain Dynasty Bombs]. The [Rain Dynasty Bombs] were shaped like small missiles and were perfect for what Lin Fan planned on doing to get the demi-gods stationed here to leave their weaker soldiers behind.

He smiled and walked over to the edge of the spiritual plume and dropped three bombs directly towards the ocean. A small flame came out the back of those bombs and swerved right towards Silver Heart Ocean towards the main base of the Merman. The bombs could sense spiritual energy thanks to a few spiritual chips Lin Fan had created and immediately rushed towards the bunkers deep within the ocean.

The Merman had a defense system set up that they called [Tracking Water Clouds] that would move towards any heat signature and ring a loud bell if any strange signal was picked up. It was like a very primitive tracking radar, and would respond to spiritual energy attacks from cultivators.

The [Rain Dynasty Bombs], however, were coated with a special metal called [Resonant Insulate], which blocked the [Tracking Water Clouds] from picking up on the spiritual engine drive inside of it. The bombs burst into the water and acted like torpedoes as they struck a small underwater caravan that was slowly marching towards the Fan Sect.

A large explosion went off and killed thousands of soldiers as Lin Fan wistfully looked at the Demi-God Dragon Kin hoping they would care enough to check it out.

To his surprise, the Dragon Kin were quick to act and rushed to the aid of the merman only leaving behind three demi-god in an open cloud bunker. He smiled and gave a nod at Han Zhou as he turned the [Sacred Law Manuals] Tome towards Lin Fan as he stepped off his back foot.

He activated the upgraded version of [Lightning Horizon] called [Lightning Blitz] and instantly appeared in front of one of the distracted demi-gods.

The man barely noticed Lin Fan as he appeared behind his back with his right arm pulled back as it coiled up and prepared to strike out.

One of the remaining demi-gods nearby tried to point as fast as he could before a gold light shimmered around Lin Fan as he quickly pulsated forward without activating a law right into the Dragon Kin's chest.

The Dragon Kin's chest shot open and blood sprayed out as he smiled and looked down at his hands. The fact that he completed one hundred bone augmentations in order to make his demi-god body seemed to bolster his strength much more than he anticipated. His speed, stamina, and also maneuverability has increased as well as his ability to utilize elementalization. He felt like an unleashed beast out of a cage as he pressed down on his right heel and shot to the next demi-god as he activated the law of water and pushed it forward.

A wall of ice nearly three hundred feet high burst towards Lin Fan as he lightly stepped down on the spritual plume and zigzagged around the incoming wave.

The soldiers who were behind Lin Fan only saw a blur of light and the first demi-god's body fall as they rushed to get away from the ice sheet. The only problem was that they were in the Ocean Realm and dodging an attack from a demi-god realm was like trying to tame the ocean with a small stick.

A few managed to jump out the way, but the rest were frozen by the wave of ice before it knocked several other soldiers off the cloud. A few fell down towards the ocean as a few more [Rain Dynasty Bombs] were dropped by [Silver Heart Mimics] that Lin Fan had released when they were on their way to the Blue Sky Camp.

The Dragon Kin thought there was a large attack from the humans while the truth was it was just Lin Fan, attacking by himself, as they tried to defend against what seemed to be thousands.

Lin Fan smiled and finally slashed with a simple karate chop into the surprised Dragon Kin's neck. His hands, arms, and bones were so hard that he only had to barely touch him to rip open his neck and bend his head to the side.

He spun backwards and kicked the Dragon Kin Demi-God in the chest as the last remaining demi-god created a few dozen fire spears and tossed them to Lin Fan. He activated a skill called [Fire Spear Domination] and also activated the law of illusion to turn that one spear into thousands.

The spears traveled to Lin Fan at what seemed to be a light speed, but with his new body he felt like they were barely moving towards him. He once again stepped down on his foot and dodged to the right of an incoming spear as he turned to watch it head past his side.

He didn't even bother to activate a skill related to illusions and ping ponged through the thousand spears before he arrived in front of the Dragon Kin demi-god. He had blue skins and fierce orange eyes, but was definitely one of the youngsters among the group.

Lin Fan smiled as he arrived in front of him and turned to the [Sacred Law Manual] before he activated the [law of space] and sucked the dragon kin towards his hand. With only a light motion of his fist a hole appeared in the Dragon Kin's gut as he coughed and blood and began to fall.

His fall was only stopped by a foot to the back of his head before he was sent straight down into the spiritual plume cloud and towards the ocean.

Lin Fan could tell he wouldn't be able to kill that demi-god quickly, but all he wanted to do was remove him so he could clean up some of the weaker soldiers in the base.

He wasn't technically allowed to kill Ocean Realm soldiers, and even he felt somewhat bad about doing that. However, he was still technically in the Enchanted Realm, and could kill Forbidden Realm experts as well as those in the Apotheosis Stage without a problem.

"Damn book... You better be happy with me killing an entire cloud island full of people... If not, I'm going to rip out one of your pages slowly, until you call me your master..."

Lin Fan stepped backwards and took a deep breathe.

He pointed his left and his right hand to some of the fleeing soldiers and activated [Fire Emperor's Wave] from both his hands. It was a technique he learned when reaching 25 percent mastery in the law of fire.

The waves came out of his left and right hand and instantly caused the air to dehydrate and the cloud to begin to melt as the moisture was sucked into the flame. The thousands of soldiers who were in the midst of the attack could only choose to fly away or push through the floor of the cloud.

Unfortunately, with Lin Fan's five elemental body plus all the laws that he now knew, the attack completely vaporized half the camp in a few seconds. The only people who somehow survived were those in the Ocean Realm who'd somehow been bypassed by Lin Fan's attack.

In the next moment, the spiritual plume started to evaporate from the heat as Lin Fan nonchalantly flew over to Han Zhou. Behind him there were hundreds of charred bodies falling to the ground as well as hundreds of Ocean Realm soldiers that couldn't float so high in the air.

"You like me yet stupid book..." Lin Fan patted it on the head as it cautiously jumped into his arms.. It looked up at Lin Fan once and then over at Han Zhou before it changed its mind and jumped back to the former's hands...

[The [Sacred Law Manuals] Tome has increased from [contemptuous] favorability to [slightly friendly] favorability... It can once again try to be hacked in a couple of hours...]

"Nice going Lin Fan... not a bad strategy except you forgot we got to escape... You have to always be several moves ahead...."

Han Zhou sighed and looked behind him at the hundreds of Dragon Kin Demi-Gods approached them on all sides...

"Luckily, I already thought you were going to make a mistake like this... Give me your hand..."
