Fan Sect Outskirts,

Zhou Ra and Nina Ra were roughly the size of ants as Lin Fan returned to the Fan Sect. He had thousands of thoughts flowing through his head, but was most focused on making Mimi Fan feel better.

He promised to help her work on a few blacksmith inventions, but she seemed singularly focused on Little Quin. She really hated him, but for a little girl to see someone her age taken was not easy for her to bare. When Lightning Woo was taken, he'd been rescued from Hanna Lin in less than one day. Little Quin had been taken to another world, and was being ransomed...

"Mimi Fan... Have I ever disappointed you? Have I ever not made your mother happy when she visited me at night?"

"No, she always comes in shaking to the bedroom and smiles, but that's not the issue... The issue is that he gave me these books and I haven't returned them to him yet!"

Mimi Fan slammed down three books on blacksmith arts that were golden that were small enough to fit in her pocket. Lin Fan smiled and picked one up before a box appeared in front of him.

Lin Fan sighed and picked up the second volume before he dusted it off and opened to the first page. A small note had been left by Little Quin to Mimi Fan.

"Sorry for trying to kill your father..."

"My father says talk with your fist, and act with your heart.... I stuck these from his private collection as an apology..."

"You're not bad looking also... I think you look best in black..."

The note ended and Lin Fan sighed and turned to the pages of the Echoing Heart Technique. He needed it for the [Blaze Fire Armor] to win tomorrow, but that was the least of his worries. He sat down on the grass and put Mimi Fan on his lap as he put his hand against the dew still left from this morning.

He went to go reach for Mimi Fan and put her on his lap before the floor seemed to give way.

Thousands of roots spread rapidly around his leg as Mimi Fan jumped back and screamed.

"Father! What's happening!"

"Just some weeds I need to prune..." Lin Fan's entire body soon was full of twisted onion vines as Zhou Ra appeared out from the ground. He looked nothing like the Fatty and had a cocky, contemptuous look on his face as Nina Ra came out from behind Lin Fan.

"You... you sure are gullible..." Zhou Ra said as he grabbed Lin Fan's hair... "My father needs you for a project on our spirit onion farm... Hope you don't mind traveling between worlds..."

"It'll make your stomach hurt, but nothing is worse than when father gets mad..."

"Stop tormenting him..." Nina Ra looked at the spiritual onion roots that wrapped around Lin Fan's body that constricted him with the strength of an Apotheosis Stage True Deity Plant. A True Deity plant was a plant that had consciousness and allowed for a user to control it, manipulate it, and even command it to go on missions.

The vine wrapped around Lin Fan's body before he smirked and activated the law of fire and the law of time that he had mastered. Instantly, Zhou Ra and Nina Ra seemed to freeze as Lin Fan slowly looked down at the vine. He couldn't move while using the law of time, but he didn't need to move to use other laws.

He immediately found felt for a small little parasite he had in his pocket that he saved right for this moment. He'd been feeling weird about Zhou Kan for a while, and decided to leave one trick up his sleeve. Zhou Ra had been able to take care of the Fire Goddess and the Ice Goddess without trouble. From this, Lin Fan knew that he was much stronger then he let on, and was also probably hiding knowledge of a law.

For this reason, he saved the Conqueror's Heart Technique for Zhou Ra specifically and had taken a few parasite from Lo Zhou over the course of the last few nights. He did some experiments with it, and it could even move when he activated the law of time. It crawled out of his pocket, went up to the True Deity Plant, and slowly made its way on top of it before slowly crawling into the white vine.

All Lin Fan had to do now was wait a few seconds. The once dominant vine started to grow weak and bristle as Lin Fan cast [Mantis Strikes Prey]. He was also sweating profusely from using the law of time, and started to tremble as his bones felt like they were about to snap like twigs.

Luckily, it took the parasitic spiritual root just three seconds to travel up the vine and destroy the strong constitution that made it possible for it to become a god tier plant. Lin Fan instantly deactivated the law of time at this moment.

He looked at Zhou Ra with a smile on his face before the True Deity Plant snapped into pieces.

It appeared to have turned into a wood twine that Lin Fan grasped and slammed into Zhou Ra and Nina Ra's chest as they gasped in surprise.

They jumped back and tried to disappear into the ground only to discover that their entire bodies had turned dull and limp. That one parasite had turned into a ravenous serious of monsters that slowly turned their body to a dull brown cherry wood before it completely covered their entire bodies.

"Well... I saw that coming..." Lin Fan smiled and put Mimi Fan on his lap after she stomped her feet with rage... "So, what were you saying?"
