CHAPTER THREE(4)THE WAR ZONE

Apophis was standing still, waiting not commanding his warlock nor charge forward as if he knew that was what the commander was waiting for. He called my name Sabsuri come forward and fight with me, this way we save the life's of innocent soldiers as you would want it.

I took a step forward but the commander held my hands and shook his head in disapproval. But I thought to myself I had to take responsibility people will die because I rejected a fair fight that is meant to be one on one. I jumped down from the kingdom walls and shouted Apophis come forward and face me". Then an arrow from the Apophis warlocks struck my arm. "Shooooot" I could here the commander instruct the army of Gagalie as I slowly fell down to the ground. This time I saw vision of a woman in a silk white dress; she has her baby in a basket and put him in a canoe and let it float on the river surface, she whispers to the child stay safe' with tears in her eyes. I could feel her pain, it was like I was there. This was her last wish I said to myself I must keep it. I stood up forcefully and found myself floatingin the air. Why do I have her memory now after willing the power of the sword?, she gave the baby her powers so that he could survive for be days before he could be found by someone. She saved me, she gave her life for me. I missed her so much eventhough I didn't get the chance to meet her, I miss my second family too, the ones I got to spend the be starting of my life with, they weren't bad to me at all,they didn't even treated me like I was an orphan infact I didn't feel like an orphan at all. May their soul rest in peace and their death be avenged, Now avenging their death is what I will do for them. My mother was a mage, I guess her powers are still with me and even grew stronger in me. As I stood in the air I converted the sword to be air and sent it to the Apophis and his warlocks, they shield it as I send another. I flew up back to the walls and let the soldier's shoot . The Apophis men are trying to break the gates or climb on the walls into the kingdom. This is when I sat down and meditate, I left my body still yielding the sword. I am invisible now, I stabbed Apophis warlocks and they died except for Apophis who keeps who keep jamming with my swords it seems he could see me. I returned to my and got an epiphany; I commanded the archers to stop. Now there is fire in my eyes, my legs don't touch the ground, The power of the blade alongside the power of a mage (my mother). She was so powerful I thought to myself. I proceed my speech; Apophis, now no one will interrupt let's continue our fight, just the two of us. He smiled and said "A child like you even thinking of going into combat with me make me wanna puke', let's do it". Immediately he turned to a very giant snake and was approaching me, I closed my eyes and stood still till he get really close, he tried to use his head to hit me but I dodged to the side, immediately he used his tailed to rip me off my feet, but I lifted my legs up and dodged again. He looked at me, and charged up to me again this time with his mouth open, I flew into his mouth pointing my sword to his mouth at the same time. I am inside the mouth of Apophis with my sword stabbing his throat, the blade came out from the back of his throat that the soldiers could see. Archers fiiiireeee",(the commander instructed again), as the arrows pierce Apophis I never continue to stab him from the inside, he struggled for to get me out of his mouth using his tongue but I cut it off, he made a loud shout that sounded like a roar of a lion then fall to his back and lied still. The commander commanded the archers to stop. I came out gently, covered in irritating liquid from Apophis throat. Apophis could hardly breath now, I hold my sword and give him the last strike and wrath of my sword on his neck which cut off his neck. I picked up the head of the snake and faced the Swahili army and raised the head of Apophis and gave a shout of victory; hjaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, they repeated; jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,jhaaaaaaaaa..
