Chapter 31 Family Reunion 5
Wadsworth where's Liam!" Maisha asked "He went on a business trip out of town, I don't think he'ld be back today!" Wadsworth said before leaving.
The family had a bliss reunion and they ate dinner together. Elsa took Jesse to her room, it was like a Disney princess room, everything in the room was pink in colour, she had her personal dressing mirror in her closet. Her closet was so big, filled with expensive clothes, bags, jewelries, shoes of different brands in sections. Jesse was dumbstruck by Elsa's closet, she had way more things than her. This was more than a designers shop.
"Liam got all this for you!" Jesse was astonished, it can't be, Liam is a cold and evil brother so how was it possible. "Hmm!" Elsa sat on her big bed smiling, "Liam's been very good to me!" Elsa confessed. "Ya only to you!" Jesse rolled her eyes. "I like him!" Elsa said confidently.
"You shameless girl!" Jesse teased "What? We're married, and besides mum always told me if you like something go for it cause life's too short!" She smiled and Jesse smacked her head in resignation. "So tell me, why'd you guys come back?" Elsa added curiously "Oh, Liam asked us to come back, he said you needed a family now!" Jesse said warmly.
Her word left Elsa speechless for a while, Everytime she thinks of why Liam cares about her so much, she never get the right answer to her question.
Elsa and Jesse talked into the night laughing and playing till it was late at night. "You know Claire told me alot about you each time she came for visiting!" Jesse said "what did she say, I guess it's something bad!" She sounded hurt. "Actually on the contrary, she talked about your trips together, and your future plans!" Jesse said "I had no idea you guys knew each other!" Said Elsa. "Ya we've been friends since three, and we were only apart when we left this city!" Jesse said.
Elsa was dumbstruck by Jesse's revelation, she has been friends with claire since kindergarten. Even if their mum's hated each other, they always believed the power of their friendship would bring their both parents together. "When did you leave this city?" Elsa asked.
"When I was seven!" Jesse said. This made Elsa wonder why Claire never told her about Jesse, she thought they shared everything including their deepest secret but she was wrong. She was a little disappointed, but now she thought about it, Claire did hide things from her.
She forgave Claire a long time ago and would still love her to be her best friend again. She was still worried about claire, cause of what Liam ordered his guards to do to her parents. Somehow she did not believe Liam when he said he'd let them go.
"Ah..no..... No... It can't be....!' Jesse's sudden scream broke Elsa off her daze. "What is it!" She was scared something happened to her. "It's on the news, Liam's car had an accident and neither Liam or his chauffeur's body was found. But there's blood all over the car!" Jesse said, her brown eyes were wet as tears threatened to fall out.
"Elsa Liam is dead!" Jesse added as she dropped her phone on the bed and started crying. She was too heart broken to see the shocked expression on Elsa face.
