The Silent Fort

Lex landed with a heavy thud, disoriented and uncertain about his location. As he lay on his back, he gazed up at the hole he had fallen through.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he slowly sat up, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings.

After standing up and brushing the dirt from his armor, Lex assessed his situation. He saw a network of tunnels branched off in five different directions, each leading to an unknown destination.

With several choices before him, he needed to make a decision about which path to follow.

As he did, he was met with the chilling sounds of screeches and roars, signaling the presence of the Hivefiends above him.

Deciding not to attempt climbing out of the hole, Lex chose to venture down one of the tunnels instead.

Lex realized that one of his Gearhearts was missing. Without hesitation, he closed his eyes and summoned the missing weapon, which promptly materialized in his hand.
