Lex walked for a while, his mind consumed by the haunting image of the Gear Knights he had seen, their forms twisted amid mutation.
Without hesitation, he swiftly killed them with well-placed bullets to their heads, ensuring they would never again pose a threat. Not long after Lex continued, he reached a chamber, but an instinct told him that Tila was nearby and still alive.
While in the chamber, he felt like he was being watched, and as he was about to leave, something jumped out of the shadows.
When seeing this, Lex grinned before transforming into his Nosferatu form and quickly grabbed the Hive Assassin by its elongated throat. He looked at the struggling monster, which had fear in its beady eyes when seeing him.
