This is book 1 in the series. Each book will be between 50K-100K words. Chapters will be between 1500-2000 words. The books are told in the first person with the occasional break to the actual "authors pov". You'll understand what I mean after reading the first chapter.

This series is litrpg but it's pretty lite. The "system" is more there to show the mcs progress and aid the mc at the start of the journey as one of the "rune holders". Do not expect the "system" to be giving rewards for achievements or anything of that nature. This is not a game and overall there won't be much of the usual mechanics you see in litrpgs.

This universe is very dark. Expect things such as slavery, murder, supstance abuse and more. I do not condone such behavior but unfortunately they are very real, and I will show the darker side of this world often. This is your warning, any complaining of "dark or inappropriate" content will be ignored.

Each book in the series is about a different "rune holder". You may see previous mcs or characters from past books, but the mc will be different in each book.

This story is both fantasy and sci-fi, expect advanced weaponry and technology, as well as fantasy settings. It will kind of have cultivation, not traditional cultivation though.
