Please Save Her!

- Golden Wolf temporary headquarters -

After two hours, they finally arrived, Damian Shen had ordered his men to get back to the Shen's headquarters.

When the cart was finally at a complete stop, he lifted Venusa up with a gentle loving embrace and he followed Alex Lee to the master bed room at the second floor.

He laid her very slowly in the spacious bed and his loving gazed had never left her. He was holding her warm hand, while glancing at the hole in her arm. The surrounded area wasn't black anymore and her color had look better.

Alex Lee was talking in a whispered voice to Agent 003 while glancing at Damian Shen with enmity.

Damian had raised her hand to his hand and kissed her warmly.

"Marshal Shen..., please followed me to my office!"

Hesitantly, he asked in a beseeching way," But.., Could you save her? could I stay here until I'm sure she would be alright?"

"Marshal Shen..., she's my mom, do you think I would leave her if she was still unsaved?, Agent 003 was an expert surgeon, he would stitched on her wound after making sure all her poison was out from the wounded area and no infection, and bandaged her afterward.

"Poison out? You mean to say that she would be alright right?"

"Agent 003 would detox her body completely with his medical acupuncture, but because her wound was deep, she needed to rest here for a couple week..."

He smiled like a kid, his dark heart was finally brighten with warmth and he was finally able to see the light in his near future, with her being alive, he would no longer live in hell.

- Alex Lee office -

Alex Lee was walking up and down the room after he told Marshal Lee to sit, just like a teacher waiting to punish his student.

Stop striding wildly, Alex Lee stood up in front of him to be at an equal height but Damian Shen was still towering of on him even when he was in a sitting position. Inwardly, he was hoping that he would be bless with his genes and be as tall as him when he grew up.

"What is your relationship with my mommy?", Alex Lee asked as a matter of fact and added," Would you be willing to die for her?"

Damian Shen eyes met his stare in depth and he said with all his heart," I'll die for her, and I'll bleed for her for as long as I live".

" I am so furious at you right now for not able to protect her", Alex Lee sighed deeply when he decided to forgive his dad unintentional fault and added," What is your plan now regarding my mommy?"

Damian Shen sighed deeply at the question that he had been asking within his innermost thoughts and after a long paused, he answered," I love her but I couldn't marry her because I had vowed in front of my late wife grave that I would not take another wife in this life.., I had break my promise to her by falling in love with your mother but I couldn't break my honorable pledge..., I had asked your mother to stay as my mistress but she had rejected it..."

Alex Lee's brilliant mind was rotating as fast as a fidget spinner and he smiled like a Cheshire Cat when he said, " Marshal Shen, the most powerful marshal in the Emperor country, from now on, I would help you to gain my mother trust but you have to listen to me at all time and followed my plan no matter what is the consequences!"

Gazing at Alex Lee with astonishment, he replied, " Your wish is my command!"

- The Rebels mansion -

In a deep of the night, Mark Luo was looking around the surrounding area of the mansion, after he was sure nobody was around he entered the east gate and headed to the secret room inside the meeting room.

The leader had asked him to dismiss their followers and they had easily accepted since they had been tired with the pointless rebellion. The powerful Marshal was too formidable and his soldiers were a force to be reckoned, there was no way for them to win the fight, and they were unwilling to give their life for their diminishing belief. Not even one soul chose to stay behind, they were out and about like a chicken escaping its cage.

Carefully, Mark Luo walked toward the meeting room and there he was....

The leader dignified body had turned blue and when Mark Luo was reaching for his hand, it was as cold as ice, his eyes were open as a sign that he had died without being able to fulfill his wish of revenge, carefully he used his palm to close his eyes as a respectful manner.

"You thought that I had forgotten of your name, but I would never forget your precious name since it was engraved in my heart, you are my savior and I would respect your last word to value my life and protect your family...., the last descendants of the true owner of the crown!"

After Mark Luo finished bowing in each direction of the leader body with genuine respect, he carried the leader dead body on his back with a tremendous struggle because not only that the leader was bigger than him, his stiff body had weight double than his original weight.

After a long while, he buried his body in the mansion backyard facing the direction of the sunset. For hours, he designed a flat stone with an epitaphs 'Shane Lung lies here in peace!', then respectfully, he marked the leader grave with it.

Again, he bowed at the leader grave in every direction, and his tears was flowing down like a waterfall when he finally left the lonely grave in the mid of the dawn.

- The next day, Golden Wolf headquarters -

It was morning time, Damian Shen arose gently not to awaken the soft body lay next to him.

Last night, Alex Lee had instruct him to sleep with his mother by saying that his mother body need a warmer to prevent her of getting a fever.

Carefully, after rubbing his hands together and blew his warm breath on it, he placed his hand on her forehead and he was glad it was lukewarm with no sign of a fever.

He had enjoyed sleeping next to her warmth since it brought a feeling of peacefulness and blissfulness within his heart.

Before he could continue to lay next to her, someone was knocking on the door.

It was Alex Lee and he said, " Rise up, someone wants to talk to you!"

With a slow motion, he was out from the comfy bed still wearing his wrinkle military uniform.

Following Alex Lee down the stairs, his eyes locked into Marshal Lang envy stare.

"Let's go to my office for privacy!"

- Alex Lee office -

"Marshal Shen..., Young Master....., I had just come back an hour ago from my mission..., I was unable to find any rebel members..., they had disappeared without a trace like a thin air, then upon arrival to the headquarters, I heard of Venn Lee injury and of course Marshal Shen, I blamed you as the culprit for not competent enough to protect her..., and almost immediately Commander Luo had brought the news that he found your mistress and your daughter 'save and sound' at an inn nearby the village by the beach area and that he had brought them back to the Shen's mansion....."

Damian Shen was overjoyed with relief inwardly upon hearing Leah safe return , but his face stayed cold because he disliked Nick Lang tone of voice and mockery. How dared he called him incompetent!

While unable to read Damian Shen cold facade, Nick Lang sighed with contempt with his silent treatment.

"Could I visit Venn Lee now, young Master?!", he asked with almost begging. He had asked the same question earlier but Nick Lee had told him that they need to talk first. But at the moment, both of Damian Shen and Nick Lee had ignored his present with their identical aloof expressions.

After a while, Nick Lee finally responded," My mommy needed to rest right now..., she was still unconscious..., we would see....when she awake...", Alex Lee sneered inwardly. There was no way that he would let that happen. He was on 'Team Daddy', he won't help other man to woe his mother.

Damian Shen smiled at his powerful ally.

After muttered a 'Huh', Nick Lang strode out angrily.

The father and son was indifferent to the scene and together they walked side by side to check on Venn Lee.
