The Runaway Pregnant Wife

When my friend dared me to kiss a guy in front of his two-timing date. I gathered all my courage and walked towards the man, I leaned on him, pulled his nape, and kissed him. At first it was awkward but when he delved his tongue to mine and I followed his rhythm, I owned the pleasurable moment of kissing. He whispered "more practice pepper" and kissed me again savoring the sweetness of the last kiss. I smirked, touched the contour of his lips with my fingers, "I will" and winked at him. But then… it didn’t cross my mind how playful fate was and how small the world we live in because he was standing in front of me wearing a dark scowl. Looking at him, I remember the kiss we shared, it lingered in my mind for months. "Hello pepper" his voice made my heart vibrates in irregular spasms.

If I had known that the taste of a kiss would linger in my mind and be imprinted on my lips like a tattoo, I would have kissed many boys before.

I kissed them to make the experience so inane that it wouldn't stick with me for long.

I looked at Kevin as he spoke with the officers; he was stunning, with an air of intelligence about him.

What happens if I kiss him?

Is his kiss the same with Mitch? I wanted to get rid of the feelings he entrenched in me.

Kevin approached me and said his goodbyes to them. When I pulled his nape and kissed him, he clasped my hands and was surprised. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the kiss; there was no tingling sensation, only connection. I opened my eyes and stared at his terrified expression.

"What the...?" I shoved my pointer finger into his mouth and dragged him outside. Mitch's expression was solemn as he followed our every move.

When we were inside his Audi, he exclaimed angrily, "Are you crazy ginger? Zach will kill me if he finds out." I ignored him and continued to think outside. Should I kiss another man if I didn't feel anything in his kiss?

I saw a convenience store and said, "Stop over there, I want to eat instant noodles and junk foods." He sighed and stopped the car; customers were staring at us because we were both dressed up for a party. We sat on the stool in the corner with the tables, waiting for our noodles to soften in the hot water.

"Do you have feelings for me, ginger?" he asked, his face concerned.

"Yes, I love you," I said, tapping the table because I was bored and wanted to eat the noodles. He was taken aback and combed his hair.

I couldn't take it any longer. "I love you like Zach," I said, laughing. His face lit up and drew me in.

So, why did you kiss me? "I slurped the noodles and answered him "I kissed someone, and the kiss stayed in my mind as I felt something, so I kissed you to make comparison." His face became thoughtful and asked, "what did you discover then? "I felt nothing, you're boring, maybe I should kiss another," I sighed. He laughed out loud, "you try Daniel," he suggested. "Nah," I thought to myself, Eloise will kill me. Eloise was her sister-in-law's friend and she became her friend too.

Someone pounded on my door, and I awoke.

When I opened it, I was met with Zach's enraged expression and the newspaper in his hands.

"What does this mean?" My eyes widened when I saw me and Kevin kissing in a society page.

"Damn McGregor, I trusted the jerk! I'll kill him," he snarled.

"Calm down Zach please, I'm hungry, let's eat first and I'll explain," I said as I approached the kitchen counter and greeted Martha, his long time housekeeper and cook.

Zach followed me, his face contorted. Martha served me my preferred black coffee and toast.

"Explain," he kept insisting.

"If you looked at the picture, I kissed him," he said, surprised, "no need to kill Kevin you're overacting Zach." He glared at me, "you don't talk to me like that Brie."

"Don't push your sister hon, and don't jump to conclusions, why did you kiss him love?" Shimi was always there for me when my brother became overly protective.

"Well... Tiffany dared me to kiss a man, and I felt something with the kiss, maybe because it was my first kiss, so I kissed Kevin to make comparison, but he was furious and was worried that I felt something for him aside from brotherly affection. I can't forget his face," I laughed, and Shimi laughed with me.

"How did the kiss go?" she inquired.

"Boring, no wonder Kevin has no flings," I sighed, as Shimi smirked and Zach kissed her on the lips. They were both preoccupied with what they were doing to my annoyance. They were like honeymooners, I saw them everywhere in the house making up, which was one of the reasons I wanted to live on my own. I left them to their own devices and proceeded to the twins' room; I will surely miss those darlings.

"Kevin and Zach's men, John and Jim, along with Martha's husband Jack, assisted me in moving out. When Zach announced during breakfast that they were expecting another angel, I hugged Shimi while Kevin congratulated Zach. "You really didn't waste time knocking her up Camwell." Zach gave him his cocky smile.

"Anyway, Mitchell stays with me during his rest and recreation; he can help us as well." When I saw him waiting at my door, my eyes widened. Shimi wanted to come, but I told her not to bother and to rest because she was sick with morning sickness.

"Hello pepper," he said with a bright smile.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw him. His muscles were clearly visible in his jeans and fitted white shirt. I nodded and opened my door using my prints. Kevin prints was also in the database.

He is a true gentleman who always respects my privacy, and I had faith in him.

We ordered pizza and buffalo chicken wings for dinner, and John, Jim, and Jack left after helping us; they declined my invitation to join us for dinner. "Thank you knight for assisting me," I said to Kevin, who kissed my hair and said, "you smell like a bunch of dust ginger." I rolled my eyes and turned to Mitch "thanks to you too Col Humphrey." He laughed "why the formality pepper, just call me Mitch." I smiled at him and went to the door to get our order.

They arrived in my unit early to have breakfast with me, Mitch washed the dishes, and I went to my room to get ready for work.

"Mitch will drive you to the hotel ginger, you should learn to drive while he's still here," Kevin suggested, after he gave up trying to teach me to drive. He was so frustrated with me because I couldn't even use my reflexes. Zach had assigned someone to be my driver, and he wanted me to use his services even though I had moved away from them, but Kevin volunteered to do it in exchange for food.

We were silent during the ride because I couldn't think of anything to say.

"How old are you?" I inquired out of the blue.

"I'm thirty-eight pepper, I have vast experience in many things, I can teach you anything aside from driving and kissing," he chuckled as he looked at me.

"You're too old for me, I want younger men," I blurted out without thinking.

He fell silent and concentrated on his driving. When he parked Kevin's Audi, he immediately pulled me in and kissed me passionately. As his hands cupped my right breasts through my white shirt, I moaned. I was lost in the real world, and all I could feel was a tingling sensation.

He pulled me out of his embrace and kissed me me again on my forehead.

"You're driving me crazy pepper" he said hoarsely.

I stepped out of the car, my lips swollen and my hair tangled. I hurriedly combed my hair with my hands and walked towards the hotel's front door. I didn't pay attention to the staff's greetings. I went straight to the restroom and stared at myself. My cheeks were flushed, and my thick, stubborn wavy hair was a little tangled.

Tiffany came to see me frequently, and we became like sisters. She was fearless and fierce, but she never let me in. She just sat there and listened, never saying anything about herself. I respect her right to privacy. I implied that I'd be available to her at any time. I knew what kind of work, they're doing. My sister-in-law and her friends were into security business other things I didn't want to know. Tiffany and Eloise were one of the people working to make the world safe. I better think that way.

"I kissed him three times already," I told her.

"Who?" she asked, playing with the utensils in my empty plate.

"The man I got my first kiss, Lt Col Mitchell Humphrey."

Her eyes widened, "the legendary man, the hero, the old fashion, the straight and strict like Matthew? Wow! you're a lucky girl," she exclaimed. "He's a good catch Brie, Shimi says he's loyal and a man of few words, let's see," she smirked, as if she already had wicked plans for him.
