Melisca was standing behind a tree. Thoughts crawled up in her mind. Maybe the driver was just taking a break from the long ride. But she can't take the chance of being careless from unsure conclusions. She turned to her left. She could enter this way of the forest, but it wasn't the route she was familiar with. She could get lost again. But then, it's daytime. It might not be that hard to find her way back. Hopefully.
She had to be on alert, wearing her supersenses like armor to her skin. She might stumble on strangers, so she thought it better to leap on the high branches. Though she can hear if anyone's around the area she is in, sprinting dulls some of her alertness in the surroundings.
