The RUDRA World: The World That Cries

Rudra means "the roarer," "dreadful," or "formidable." Ram, a normal office-going person from Gurgaon, India, had everything in his life. He was not exactly pampered, and being a middle child, a lot could agree on this, but his life took a turn when he found himself transmigrated to a new world. This world was something new for him; he had never read a novel or played any game to get a basic understanding of the situation. But in the darkest of times, there is always a flicker of light. Ding! "Welcome host; you have entered the Rudra world." "Why is there a voice in my head?" "Have I really lost it?" "Host, I am the system provided to you by the supreme will to guide you." "Wait, so you're a system, designed by the CEO of the US company Supreme, Will." System: "..." How will a person who has no clue about the fantasy or cultivation world survive in his new environment? Let’s see how Ram finds his way while evolving himself and conquering evil. _____________________________________________________________ Some points about the book 1. This is a new cultivation world story with different cultivation elements. It doesn't involve Qi or mana but uses "Prana" (Prana is an actual thing used in the yogic culture in India for the past 20,000 years), so anyone who likes to read a cultivation or fantasy story but wants something new could give it a try. 2. Though the character has a system with him, do note that that system is there to only guide him, not make him overpowered. 3. The protagonist does act silly at times, but it is to be expected as he is new to the system and cultivation, and you will realise sooner that he is actually very smart. 4. The character will evolve naturally as a human does in real life after learning their lesson; there will be no harem, but romance in the future is to be expected, and as the story progresses, there will be a lot of tension and definitely blood spilling and slaughters. 5. The main protagonist doesn't kill with overpowering strengths; he often uses his wits to outsmart the situation and trap the enemy before killing them. 6.Since this is my first time writing anything, there may be a few ‘You know what I mean"s here and there. I'm developing alongside Ram as the story unfolds. I wish you all a blessed and joyful day. _____________________________________________________________

First Trade with Currency

The following days, Ram got busy; he woke up and did his practise. Tried to manipulate the tree prana, entered the secret realm, and walked wherever he liked to explore the secret world, exit, sleep, and repeat.

Today, early in the morning, after the daily practise, Ram met the middle-aged-looking merchant in the market.

"Young man, My granddaughter really liked your wood carvings. Do you have more that you want to sell?"

the merchant asked.

Ram nodded and replied, "I do have more. How many do you want to buy? I'll show you the products first."

Ram opened his backpack and displayed the products on the table.

"Oh, you have more of these." What's the cost? "Are you still interested in the barter?"

"I would like to deal in notes and currency now, but the cost is not decided." "What do you think should be the cost?"

Merchant looked at Ram in surprise, while Ram further explained.

"I am new to this business, and you have been my first and only customer till now." "I thought it would be better for you to make the call."

Merchant nodded, picked up a bunny-looking wood sculpture, and observed it a little.

"These are made from the common tree, but the shape and detailing, along with the creativity of this new species never seen before, add up. So I think 100 rudrasnsh are a good price for an individual product."

"I want to buy them all, so for the total of 50 products, it's 5000 rudransh."

The merchant opened the small pouch hanging by his shoulder, removed five thousand rudransh notes, and handed it to Ram.

Ram only took four notes and refused to accept the last one.

"I am happy with 4 thousand rudransh; I'll give you a discount for setting up the price and being my first customer."

Merchant could clearly see Ram trying to make a good impression and connection.

"Since you gave me a discount, I'll give you valuable information in return."

"Mysterious merchants are expected to visit the village in another 20 days. If you can add more products of different types, you might be able to trade with them."

"Making connections and trading with the mysterious merchant is always good; you should aim for it."

Merchant gave this information and walked away.

Ram now observed the currency notes in detail, and he could see that they were made of some kind of paper material, but he could tell that this material might not be as simple as it seemed. He observed the note for some time, but he couldn't figure anything out from it, so he kept it and started to leave the market place.

Ding!

"Instant Mission Triggered."

Ram opened the status window and saw the mission.

Instant Mission: Trade with a Mysterious Merchant

Reward: Item Ten times the value of goods traded

Ram was not too surprised; he could tell that the mysterious merchant should be an important party, and even if there was no mission, he would have still tried to make some connection through trade.

He then went to register in the trade hall for a permanent stall in the market. Here he saw a middle-aged man sitting behind a desk with some documents on a table, and the man seemed to be busy with some paper work.

"Hello"

"I want to put up a permanent stall in the market."

The middle-aged man looked up and saw Ram. He observed him for some time, then said:

"Is there any weapon or drug-related product that you will deal in?"

"No"

"Okay, the total is 3000 rudransh for the permanent spot, and this cost is to be paid every year, along with the 10 percent of profit per month."

"Okay."

Ram removed 3000 rudransh and handed it to the counter along with the form he filled out and 10 percent of today's profit.

"Elder, can I set up a stall now, or is there something for identification I will get from the trade hall?"

"We have got your paperwork with us, so it's fine; you can start immediately; your paperwork will be circulated with the security personnel, so you won't have any problem."

He was still not satisfied after hearing the elder's words; he felt there should be some identity card that he should also have, so he waited in silence for the elder to continue.

The elder, while observing Ram's expression, could tell what he was thinking, so he added,

"If you need an identification document or permit for the permanent stall, you will also get it but will have to wait for another week. As this process takes time. "In the meantime, you can start your trade if you want to immediately."

Ram, though still a little sceptical, couldn't do anything, so he agreed with him and started to walk out of the hall.

The middle-aged man saw Ram leaving, then took the paperwork, kept it in the drawer, and got busy with his other work.

Actually, he was not surprised by Ram applying for the permanent stall; usually, whenever the mysterious merchant came, most of the people who wanted to make a connection with them always applied for the permanent stall.

He still felt that the news of the mysterious merchant should not be known to the general public at the moment. How did he know? Maybe he didn't and was really interested in a permanent stall. Maybe it's just a coincidence. Who cares? It wasn't his job to get into other people's lives, so he got busy with his other work.
