[Warning: Mature Content, R18+] Born with a mark that was never intended… Gifted with intelligence and skills far more advanced than her peers. Elsa Morgan didn’t experience the normal childhood that everyone had. Always been haunted by her nightmares and by unexplainable events since she was young. Elsa became a doctor to find answers. Destined to bear sufferings and do what is right for his people… Chris Jorgensen was bound to the woman he had not met yet and marked without knowing what he had done. In order to lead his kingdom to glory and victory, he must find her first no matter what it takes, even if it means crossing the other world. Two worlds apart that defy what is the norm in their worlds. Brought together by the invisible tie that binds them together. Or is it true love that defies all reasons? When accidents turn out to be fate in disguise, will they be able to reject the strong pull towards the person who turned their whole world and everything they worked hard for upside down? ******** “What the hell! I told you not to move!” Elsa shouted while running back to the man, who lifted his head and smirked at her. Elsa screamed when the naked man abruptly pulled her onto his lap and started sniffing her all over her body, especially on her chest, hair, and neck. She heard her dogs growl and come closer to the man but quickly calmed down when he gave them a quick glance, and it absolutely surprised her. “What are you doing!” Elsa pushed the naked man on the chest for she could feel him hard down there and it was making her really uncomfortable. “Your smell… Mmm… Lavender and blueberry… God, you smell divine…” The man casually said before burying his face in her neck and sniffing her hard. “You pervert!” With all her strength, Elsa pushed him once again and slapped him so hard that she also hurt her palm, making his head turn to the side on impact. She briskly stood up and shouted, “Nile, tackle! Girls guard!” In a swift move, Nile jumped to the naked man tackling and pushing him to the ground while Ciel, Gaia, and Nuri surrounded him, not removing their gaze from him while growling and showing their sharp teeth and fangs. But then a more powerful force is pulling her eyes beyond the man’s buff chest and deep in her mind she convinced herself that she would do this because she is a doctor and he is her patient– an injured patient, she reminded herself. She would look at him only to see the extent of his injuries and nothing more. She is a doctor… A licensed professional for God’s sake! ‘How can I buckle him up if it’s on the way of the strap? Should I move it to the side?’ Elsa was having a battle in her head ultimately muddled about whether she would touch it or not. From the way he looks, she is sure that he is heavy and she must use the straps properly to be able to securely drag him to her car for both their safety. ******** Chris pretended to be sleeping while he let himself heal, or so he thought. The sedative took a while to have an effect on him. But eventually, he dozed off and was unconscious for real this time. He opened his eyes and saw white walls and someone was holding his right hand. He sat up and saw the red-haired woman’s hand on top of his while her wrist was glowing. Chris’ eyes widened, he held his shoulder and shook her up, “Wake up! There’s a glowing mark on your wrist!” But no matter how hard he wakes her up, she’s not opening her eyes. “You are mine, Elsa. And I am yours.” Chris moved his face closer to hers and planted a soft gentle kiss on her lips. “Whoever you are, Elsa, I will protect you. Even if it’s from the man that you call Dad.” Chris whispered as if someone would hear him. Kiss Me Again

Chris kicked Elsa's foot gently under the table and gave her a meaningful look. He just wishes that Elsa would understand his signal and stop asking her father. She could trigger the memories of her dad to return sooner than expected.

"Oh come on dear, don't you remember? He is the son of my friend back in medical school. How can you forget? We just attended his dad's funeral last year and you have been together the whole time we were there. Do you remember now?" Ambros said before he started eating his breakfast.

Elsa glared at Chris and answered his father, "Ohhh… That friend. Yes, I remember. I didn't know he was also your godson, that's why I didn't remember right away."

"It is because you are always busy with work. You should rest once in a while. That's why I'm a little thankful for your suspension because you can rest."

"You should rest too, Dad. I'll take care of your patients today. The wound on your nape looks nasty." Elsa then emphasized her last word and raised an eyebrow at Chris.

"Now that you mentioned it. I don't need you at the clinic today. I need you to accompany Chris to the mall. Those robbers not only caught me off guard, but they also took Chris' car together with his things. As I said, if he did not arrive on time and saved me, you might not have a father right now," Ambros said, which made Chris smirk.

Elsa rolled her eyes, and pursed her lips, definitely not liking her father's idea. But then she remembered that she needed to question this man for what was happening.

'His things?' Elsa thought.

"Dad, what do you mean 'his things'?" Elsa asked her dad but it was Chris who answered.

"Oh, that. Everything happened so fast, that I really didn't get to inform Uncle last night. I am planning to stay here for a while if Uncle Ambros will allow it. I am having an inheritance problem at home and I just don't want to deal with it before I got here." Chris started eating too, feeling comfortable in Dr. Arden's house.

"Stay here? In our house? Are you in–"

"Sure! You are absolutely welcome here, my son. What is that inheritance problem you are talking about? Maybe I can help." Ambros enthusiastically replied.

Elsa's jaw dropped, 'Am I in a prank show or something? Just what is going on?' She is still confused about the situation. She is clearly thinking that she is going crazy.

"My family is bugging me to marry someone before they allow me to run the family business. I said I would think about it while I go on a little vacation. My father talked about how beautiful Santa Fe is, a lot of times and I had proved it yesterday when I roamed around. So I think this is the best place for me to think about my options and meet someone to marry." Chris casually said while eating and not sparing a glance at Elsa who was frowning so deeply and giving him a sour face.

"You are right. So have you met any ladies while roaming around?" Ambros paused and looked at Chris anticipating his reply.

Chris did the same but instead of looking at Ambros, he stared at Elsa with a meaningful smile. "Yes, I did. And she's just perfect. I will surely make her mine, take her home, and marry her."

Elsa's eyes widened in disbelief and irritation, 'Why do I feel like he is talking about me? That pervert!' She was about to make a face at Chris but quickly fixed her facial expression when her dad looked at her.

"Elsa, this is wonderful news don't you think? After you two eat, go and help Chris settle in and buy new things. Use my credit card, and show him around the town."

Elsa's blood is now boiling fast with mixed emotions that are all negative and it makes her want to strangle the man sitting right in front of her. Her life is already complicated and the arrival of Chris just made it crazier. She feels like she is really on the verge of insanity.

The two kept eating their breakfast while Ambros kept talking about his clinic and work. Elsa kept her eyes on her food, lost in her thoughts. Chris kept on gazing at her while pretending to be listening to whatever Ambros was saying.

Ambros finished first and went straight to the clinic leaving Elsa and Chris alone.

Elsa stood up as soon as she heard the main door close and slammed the table before Chris with her palm. She hit it so hard making Chris' plate and cup shake. "Who are you and what did you do to my dad?!" She snarled at Chris with raised eyebrows and a protruding jaw while her other hand was on her waist.

"Calm down Princess, I am not here to start a fight," Chris wiped his mouth before getting the plates off the table and placing them in the sink.

Elsa crossed her arms as she waited for his answer. Chris did not say anything but started washing the dishes instead.

Elsa's irritation for their invited guest is growing rapidly. She went to the kitchen counter and stood beside Chris.

"I know what I saw yesterday and I know I am not dreaming or going insane! You did something to my father! You erased his memories and you healed yourself! He can't remember anything and your wounds are gone! Just who the hell are you?!" Elsa almost shouted angrily and pulled Chris' sleeve to make him face her.

"Woah… So violent… You're gonna make me break these plates. If you want to kiss me again, just say so, and let me finish washing these first."

Elsa opened her mouth wide in complete astonishment at their guest's audacity, "Excuse me, I did not kiss you! You kissed me!"

"You are right. I did kiss you, and you kissed me back. And like you, I also want more so please be patient." Chris smiled at Elsa and winked.

Elsa gritted her teeth and sighed loudly, "This is unbelievable! I want you to leave right now before I call the police."

"And what will you tell them? That you hit a naked man then healed him afterward?" Chris said.

"I did not heal you, you did it to yourself! Are you a demon or something?" Elsa exclaimed.

Chris turned off the faucet and leaned sideward on the counter, "Listen Princess. First, I am not a demon and second, I did not heal myself. I must admit I heal faster than other werewolves, but not as fast as that. Plus I am a hundred percent sure that it was your glowing arm that healed me."

Elsa covered her mouth in shock and stared at Chris who was smirking at her. He is surely enjoying the surprised look on her face.
