The Queen Is Sick

As Christopher started his return journey from the West Coast, with the news of the money that had been stashed away, his mood was too melancholy. A woman's thirst for power had been so great that she had stopped at nothing. First, she had gotten rid of her own sister. Then she had used her husband, then her lover and finally her daughter. Everything had been sacrificed for the sake of the money and power. 

But what had been the point of it. She had lived with a tyrant, plotting at every turn, all for nothing. And even after she had lost everything, she had planned to make a return. She had even hired assassins on Alex's behalf to kill them! At this point, he was just thankful that Alex had decided to turn them in. Usually, he would have left the inmate on the west coast to rot there for a while before giving them away. But after understanding the woman, he knew he could not rest until he watched her die with his own eyes. Her and that man- Nameless.
