With Delaney gone, Jeannie finally breathed a sigh of relief. Him being here was like having someone she could rely on. At times, she had come to consider Delaney as her home. She knew why he held such confused feelings towards he. She had known for a long time. But even then she had been unable to stop herself from relying on him. In fact she had even signed up for one of the most difficult volunteering programs in the war stricken region so that she would be able to stay away from him.

In hind sight, what Prince Christopher had done was actually even better than her plat to run away. With Prince Christopher's ring on her finger, Delaney would be able to move on much more easily. Sighing, she needed to sleep. Also, the man despite his under handed tactics had a good character.
