Awake?

Jeannie heard the sound around her before she opened her eyes which felt as if they were being held down by weights. Frowning a bit, she tried to get her eyes to open but they remained forcefully shut even as the voices around her cleared and she started to hear, " I am telling you Blaise, it is because of you that poor Jeannie is in this state." A whispered voice echoed in her ears making her frown even more..

How could they blame a kid for whatever state she was in? Just what state was she in by the way? She tried to access what kind of injury she had sustained but could not feel herself. The other voice then spoke," Very smart of you. Go around pushing the blame on a kid, why don't you? Just because I am young doesn't mean I am stupid.
