Awake And Angry
When Jeanie woke up, she was alone in the room. Well, at least she thought she was alone because she could not hear anyone. Blaise and Del had a habit of making enough noise to even wake up an elephant while Christopher had the habit of always holding her hand. As always, the first thing she tried to do was open her eyes but that felt as if she was lifting weights with her eyelids.
However, this time her effort was not wasted as light assaulted her eyes making her shut them again quickly. It took her a second to know that she had indeed regained consciousness. Opening her eyes a sliver, she looked around the room and whooped in her head! She was awake, finally!
