A Little Tussle

Jeannie gently dried her hair with her towel as she sat in front of the dressing table lost deep in thought. Thankfully this day was finally over. From the excitement of travelling to handling her duty as a 'princess consort' to showing that Miss Colin her place, felt like she had lived a few lifetimes in a few hours. She was so tired that she wanted to fall face down on bed and sleep away all the time. It seemed like her instincts had been right to not contact anyone. 

Be it the epic biological father she had who would be capable to give any daughter insomnia or her prince whose days were so busy that even forty eight hours would be less for him in a day. Thankfully Christopher had seen the tiredness in her and not insisted that she meet her doctors today! Now all she had to do was dry her hair and sleep like a baby.
