If not for his business, he would not feel the need to be with Eli today. But he could not abandon everything he had worked hard on just because he met a girl, even if she was the one. Right?
His company had been his life. He had devoted his every waking moment to building his empire. He had worked hard to achieve at least one of his dreams.
He thought it was the only fulfillment he needed after he had given up his chance at the crown. But now, he realized it was not the only core of his existence.
