Chapter 19
The Wagner Group
Two soft knocks sounded at the door of Colonel Ostrov's office.
“Come in. Ah! Captain Kuznetsov. Come and sit down.”
The tall blond man did as instructed and waited for the superior to take the initiative.
"When did you return from Irkutsk?" Ostrov inquired.
“Just three hours ago. Unfortunately empty- handed, in addition to losing two men.”
“It seems that these are bones quite hard to crack. How much are they.”
“At least seven and maybe eight. There are some with military training although so far they have exhibited only light weapons. There is a devilishly dangerous Japanese and a woman with both courage and precision. So far luck has accompanied them. The problem is that we have lost track of them, at this moment I do not know where they are.”
“The good news is that even though we don't know where they are now we know where they are going." Ostrov smiled.
”Is it information from a good source?”
