Second night. Sweetie hated this deal Devin came up with. She was up in her room, safely with Wolfie. Meanwhile, Mads and Devin's sister would be watching over her daughter. She was supposed to 'take it easier' and sleeping outside apparently wasn't good for the baby.

She couldn't complain. Although Devin needed to help out because of the weapons facing toward his home, he didn't have to help so much with the children. Especially after finding out he wasn't the father. Not many could be like that. "I could watch her for an hour?"

Dev looked back at her. "You should get some rest in a real bed. Maybe later, we can discuss changes so that you can sleep outside easier, but not tonight. My sister and Mads will be fine."

Sweetie just looked at him oddly. "Changes to sleep outside easier? You mean dragging a bed out there?" she asked.
