"Just like you made me open up to you about my past, I want you to do the same with me." Travis said as I tried to push away my emotions. "It is only fair."

"Right." I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "Yeah, it is only fair when feelings are mutual, right?"

"What did you say?" Travis asked, his eyes growing wide. "Repeat that."

"I'm not repeating myself." I growled, my gaze narrowing. "You heard me the first time."

"Are you serious?" He asked, surging forward and grabbing my hands. "Tell me this isn't some joke."

"Why would I joke?" I began to feel offended. "And could you calm down a bit? You're making me uncomfortable."

"I'm sorry." Travis said, quickly letting my hands go. "I'm just too shocked."

"Why?" I asked, confused. "I think it has been pretty obvious..."

I mean, did he really think that I would spend time with, let alone sleep with anyone? If he did think that, then I may very well have had to kick his ass.
