The Prologue
Sixteen years ago…..
The battlefield is dark and cloudy full of Samurai and Shinobi fighting each other
The ground is burned up and the trees have ashes that are falling from them
Samurai & Shinobi are dropping left and right
A Samurai with scarlet red and black armor that has a black bun and a strand of gray hair hanging down shows up
He has a scar across the left side of his face that shows a faded line from the temple to the bottom of his chin
He runs toward the battlefield and draws his Katana which has an iron black color on its blade and the hilt is pure gray
Multiple Shinobi charge toward him and throw kunai and shurikens at him But he blocks them easily with his blade
He then becomes face to face with two of the Shinobi and blocks their Tantos with his blade and slices one in the stomach then blocks another and completely decapitates the other one
The two remaining shinobi stand there frozen for a second
Shinobi: It's you…. You're The Scarlet Dragon
His face then tenses up and he runs toward the other two and stabs one in the stomach and tries to pull it out but dodges the attack of the other and kicks him as he pulls his blade out of the Shinobi's stomach
He then flicks the blood off his blade onto a tree
As he does that multiple other Shinobi surround him wearing instead of the original black attire wearing all white
Scarlet Dragon: If it isn't the "5 Erito"
Scarlet Dragon: What an honor the top shinobi in all of the world are here to defeat me
Erito 1: We've heard a lot about the great Scarlet Dragon
Scarlet Dragon: Well if you have then you know exactly how this is about to go
Erito 2: Sadly this is where your legend ends
Scarlet Dragon: Took the words right out of my mouth….
The Shinobi throws a smoke pellet on the ground and disappears into the smoke and one throws a shuriken that he barely blocks and dashes out the smoke sending another to his face and leaving a cut on his cheek
He jumps back and gets into his defensive stance
He wipes the blood from his face and sees his turned purple
Scarlet Dragon: Poison….
The other shinobi appear from the smoke as the smoke fades away throwing more kunai and shuriken but he dodges and blocks the others
He turns his Blade sideways in front of his face to get ready as they charge towards him
Scarlet Dragon: Fire Stance!
He raises his blade above his head and spreads his feet apart
The Shinobi tries to swing with his tanto but Scarlet Dragon swings through it destroying the tanto entirely and stabbing the Shinobi in the stomach
Scarlet Dragon: Who's next….
A few minutes pass by and he's passed out but wakes up in a tent next to two samurai
One has blue armor on and the other has red armor on
Scarlet Dragon: Miyamoto…. Fujie…
Scarlet Dragon: What happened
Fujie is taller and swole in the body
Fujie: The poison spread pretty quickly
Miyamoto: But that was before you killed 3 of the legendary Erito
Satanji: Good for you to wake up
Satanji was a tall broad man with straight long black hair, goatee and burgundy red armor with a kanji mark that says 'Shogun' on the chest piece
Scarlet Dragon: Satanji-sama my apologies for the oversleeping
Satanji: You two leave us…..
Fujie and Miyamoto bow and leave the tent
Scarlet gets up and walks toward his table
Satanji: Take a drink I mean you could use it
Scarlet: We need to talk-
He says while grunting in pain
Satanji: Take it easy…
Scarlet: With my son being on the way within the next few weeks….. I think it would be best for me to step down from your side in the war and be with my wife…..
Satanji's face frowns and he gains a disgusted look on his face
Satanji: Are you quitting on your country?
Scarlet: No I'm not but dying wouldn't be the best thing for my son
Satanji: I also have a child on the way but I'm not giving up on our people
Scarlet: My family needs me more than the war
Scarlet: Were overpowering them all anyways-
Satanji: Not with The Yoki out there
Satanji: With the blink of an eye he can appear and defeat both sides….
Scarlet: Well I cannot fight much longer…..
His face frowns up
Scarlet opens the tent
The Present Day…..
A teenage boy wakes up in a tent
He has a black ponytail with a strand of gray hair hanging down
He has ruby-red eyes and he has a slight muscle body build
He stretches and yawns as he opens and leaves his tent
He exits to a forest with many other tents surrounding him
He walks towards another tent as a tall and muscular teenage boy with medium spiky black hair jumps out of a bush
Boy: HA!
Scaring him
Ponytail Boy: Shun are you serious…..
He says with a straight face
Shun laughs
Shun: Good morning Shozen
Shozen: You have been doing this every morning since we started here last week
He says as they walk towards a building
Shun: Well who else is going to keep my best friend on his toes
Shozen: We have field training today and possibly a mission soon
Shun: Let's not get ahead of ourselves
Shozen walks past a girl that has reddish brown long hair
The girl had a large crowd of people around her
Shozen: Ever since she's been here she's had a big group of people around her
Shozen: Always…
Shun: You don't know who that is?
Shozen: No? Why
Shun: That's the Shogun's daughter
Shun: Mikana- Mikana Okimoto…
Shozen eyes widen
Shozen: How is sh- she here?
Shun: She's defiant and I guess her father respected her wishes in defending her people
Shozen: Hmph….
They continue to walk towards the building and open the wooden building's door
They walk towards the armory stands and Shozen stops at his
Shozen's stand had a scarlet and black armor set on it with that of his clan symbol
The symbol has a forward facing black dragon wrapping around itself with a golden crest around it
A blade with a black scabbard and bloodstained gray hilt accompanied the armor set
He stared at the armor with his eyes being full of determination reminiscing about his father's legacy
Shozen: Father… we made it….
Shozen: I'm finally a samurai…..
Shun: Let's go Shozen or we'll be late
Shozen and Shun is standing around waking for the camp leader to make a announcement
Shun & Shozen notices another teenage boy but he has a bow and arrow on his back and he has short black messy hair and black eyes
Shun: That's Izo… Izo Yamura and word is he's the most skilled shooter in the entire Low Class Samurai branch
Shozen: He looks intimidating
Shozen: Shun….
Shun: Hm?
Shozen: You think you could beat him?
Shun: I think I could but then again I think I could beat anyone
Shun laughs as the Samurai officer shows up and he stands up straight and bows
As everyone else bows
The officer has the traditional samurai man-bun and was around 5'10 in height
He seemed to be an older experienced man with slight wrinkles on his face with a scar on his right eyebrow and wore armor with no paint or writing except for the rank 'Officer'
Ishimoto Kyodai: Hello Samurai… And clowns….
He says as he looks at Shun
Ishimoto: We have bad news and we need some Samurai to prepare themselves….
Ishimoto: A village has been burned down and we're sending 4 Samurai to investigate the incident
Ishimoto: More details will be given after we announce who will be deployed
Ishimoto: First and the leader of the squad….. Mikana Okimoto…. She has been chosen for her outstanding leadership as she is the daughter of the almighty shogun himself and her battle wits is one of the best in the camp…..
Ishimoto: Next I'm sending the perfect shot….. Izo Yamura…. For his outstanding performance with his bow and arrow we think you two will be the best to get the job done
Ishimoto: The Third Samurai we're sending is Shun Zakabari… With his immense strength he will be very helpful with lifting bigger things
Ishimoto: And last we're sending Shozen Tenzin…. We're sending you for the chemistry you have with Shun and to hope you could bring everyone together in this mission
Shun bro hugs Shozen by the neck
Shun: Looks like we're working together!
Shozen(Mind): I've been chosen… TO WORK WITH THE BEST! Does this mean I'm one of the best?
Shozen(Mind): I will prove myself to be the best…..
