After finishing hunting the fierce-fanged boar, Ping Hu and the mother wolf returned to the pups' hideout. The mother snow wolf got rid of the ice on the entrance. The pups ran out of the hollow. They looked like they were starving, so they ran to eat the fierce-fanged boar's remains immediately. The mother snow wolf started to eat as well. Ping Hu absorbed the monster core quietly.
In the afternoon, little Ping Hu trained to capture a horned rabbit again. This time, he successfully captured it, and he showed it to the mother snow wolf.
"You have made a lot of progress. My children had to train much more," said the mother snow wolf, turning to look at her children that looked like they were playing chase the horned rabbit more than tip-toeing over to them.
"What will you train me in next?" asked Ping Hu.
