"Fortunately we made it." I took a deep breath after escaping from the vortex with Sarah and her bodyguards.

"The way it worked gave us time" Sarah leaned against the wall. Running like this made your knees weak.

"Are you all right?" Evan and Clayton rushed to us in the isolation room when we arrived. I'm grateful I was able to make myself make the right decisions and not harm Cara. We still have twelve more days to go.

I hope Aurora returns soon and we end this crisis. Every day it was like being forced to stand on the edge of an abyss.

"We were good, we managed to seal the gate." I answered Evan, who breathed a sigh of relief. The sealing of the gates meant a temporary postponement of the apocalypse.

"I need William to keep an eye on Cara, somehow Naquip will react if he can't open this gate." I walked into the main control room and immediately called William.
