Legends claimed that the Athenaeum even contained the secret to becoming a god and ascending above the Universal laws. The Ancients were the race that guarded the Athenaeum and the secrets it held. But as the Universe progressed, so did the greed of the civilizations residing within it. The Ancients were schemed and massacred. Progressing into the War
The vast array of spherical devices was the prototype for the artificial gravitational field developed by the Science Division. Each of these devices housed a core of concentrated energy enough to induce gravity and connected to the huge spherical devices.
{Increase the field.} The Director ordered as the shield made from ancient characters cracked apart and scattered.
With his command, the controllers began pumping dense Vital Energy into the cores of the devices, increasing the gravitational field as it started to distort the surrounding space.
Tre could feel something brewing while the branches rushed forward in an attempt to spew destruction but just as they neared the gravitational field, these branches were forced to twist and turn to make them lose their momentum. Some of the weaker branches were even scrambled and broken into many pieces.
