I did it again…

Shirohi sat on the outskirts of the Village, after calming down he realized he was in the wrong and shouldn't have snapped as he did, he let out a long sigh as he laid back against the tall grass. Tonight was a full moon casting a fair bit of light over the Village, as he stared at the moon and a sense of regret washed over him as he muttered to himself "Tsunade's probably beating herself up over this, I should head back."

The Hokage sat in a room with Minato and Jirayia, "So he has a mutated Raiton affinity?" Jirayia nodded "Yes, he seems gifted when it comes to jutsu and taijutsu, his attacks are ruthless and centered around finishing his opponent as quickly as possible. His use of seals is unorthodox as well, if Tsuande returns he returns"

The Hokage hummed "So you are saying he would be a fine addition to our ranks," Jirayia spoke "More than that, almost everything he has learned was self taught. Tsunade gave him some basic training but most of her focus was on Shizune before her guilt got the best of her, he spent a year as a mercenary escorting Merchants through the Land of Grass…"

Minato pulled out a bingo book, "He actually has made a name for himself, even getting a spot in the bingo book." Passing the book over Hizuren read it over finding a small section at the bottom of the page

Ginkamen is a mercenary that makes his living escorting Merchants, it is unknown if he is a Nukenin but from reports he uses the Hidden Grass Shunshin, it is believed that his chakra pool is undeveloped but his success rate of missions is 100%

As Shirohi returned to the Inn, he heard a commotion inside, but as he went to open the door he heard a yell "Iwa Nin are coming!" Shirohi's expression turned to panic as he burst through the door, "The war is starting, we need to leave. Now!" Isoza and Askel were shaken.

Tsunade stood up while Shizune hurriedly grabbed their things revealing the stack of scrolls to their guests "It would be best for you two to grab all your things and head south to the Land of Fire, a war is about to break out and this will be the battlefield." Isoza grabbed Askel and began running while Shizune and Shirohi grabbed things, by the time they got out the door the roaring flames could be seen on the horizon, "Are they burning the villages down?"

Tsunade nodded "Most likely, during wartime small countries like this get torn to shreds by the larger countries, Let's head south back to Kurokami Village… The closer we are to the Land of Fire the better." Shirohi didn't attempt to argue as they flickered away, this wasn't their fight to fight and he was injured he wasn't gonna risk Tsunade's and a Shizune's life because he became kill hungry…

They ran without pause, Shirohi's injuries had reopened but he didn't speak about it. Once it becomes a problem he will say something but until then he plans to make as much distance between them and the Iwa Shinobi as he can, they probably already sent out an scouting party forcing them on the side of caution.

It didn't even take half a day for them to arrive at Kurokami Village, bursting through the doors of the 'Snake Grass Pub' surprising all the patrons inside, Nomi threw open the door to the backroom about to yell at whatever thug slammed her doors but when she saw who it was she froze… how could she forget the hooded black cloak and silver mask, the two carrying him looked familiar as well, Tsuande yelled "War is here! Iwa Shinobi are burning down Rannai Village as we speak!"

The pub instantly fell into chaos, Tsuande used this time to coax Nomi and drag Shirohi into the backroom, Yumi was there eating but when she saw 'her Ginka' she happily shot to her feet only to be horrified as she watched the blood drip from his clothes, "Shizune hurry and remove his clothes I'm sorry but you'll have to do this yourself I'm already at my limit," Tsunade was covered in blood her faint trembling and slight dizziness made it difficult to even form a train of thoughts.

Yumi grabbed Ginkamen's bloody hand as she cried, Nomi just stood there dumbstruck but was pulled aside by Tsunade, ignoring the young girl crying Shizune stripped Shirohi leaving only his mask and underwear revealing his mangled wounds. Yumi almost threw up at the sight of the ripped and torn flesh but Shizune harshly said "If you can't handle it, leave, I don't need you making anything worse."

Yumi puffed her cheeks as she crossed her arms across her chest, "This is my Ginka, who do you think you are?!" Shizune shook her head as her hands lit up green, they had only minimally healed his wounds so they could stay in town longer and build his pain tolerance but now wasn't the time for that.

As her hand passed over the large gash on his side it began to mend together at a speed visible to the eye, it was nowhere near the speed Tsunade was capable of but it was something she was proud of, Yumi's eyes were wide but there was a hint of jealousy hidden within…Shizune turned to look at Yumi "Grab me some clean towels and boil some water," Yumi hurriedly ran off how could she claim Ginkamen for herself if she can't help him feel better?

A few hours passed and Tsunade came back with Nomi. Nomi's expression was downtrodden but there was a glimpse of hope in her eyes. Tsunade helped Shizune finish healing Shirohi, speeding up the process a hundredfold, as the final wound closed Shirohi's bloodshot eyes shot open as he rapidly sat up a Kunai pressing against Shizune's skin… Everyone was silent and it took Shirohi a moment to catch his bearings, his mask fell as he sat up giving Yumi a clear view of his face.

Yumi was resting her chin against her hands as she dreamily stared into Shirohi's pale blue eyes, she was like a fly stuck in honey completely oblivious to her mother's callings, "Yumi!" Yumi flinched, falling backwards off her chair "Wha— Ahhh~!"

Rubbing the sore spot on the back of her head Yumi had a heavy pour as she glared at Nomi, but Nomi paid it no mind "Come on Yumi we're leaving," Yumi's pout deepened turning into a glower as she protested "Nuh huh, Ginka just got back, I'm staying with Ginka!"

Yumi tightly hugged Shirohi's arm, seeming oblivious to the fact that he had yet to dress… Nomi let out a sigh "We are going with them," Yumi turned to look at Shirohi, leaning into his face "Really?! Really?!" Shirohi just looked around the room slightly confused, he still had yet to fully come to focus.
