I look at Mr.Holland in disbelief. "Nephew? You have a nephew who lives out here, in the wasteland?" I ask. No one lives in the wasteland, only the rebels did and they died out. Everyone thought, including me, that Mr.Holland didn't have a family. He never talked about or hint at a family. But a nephew would explain the photo on his desk at school. But the boy looked like a rebel.

The older male nods. "Yeah, it's a long story." Mr.Holland looks out at the sky as if the story was out there."I think you will like him. He is a good kid."

"Are the rebels still alive?" I ask as I follow his gaze to the outside. If they were it only makes sense to leave a child out here. There's a bright light in the distance and it's only getting closer by the second. I glance at Holland, he looks unphased by it.

"There's our ride now." He says, not answering my question. He looks back at me then walks back into the cave. "Back here, Kyle. It's going to get wild." He waits for me by the tracks.

I have a feeling my question is about to be answered. The light slit into two lights. Headlights. The outline of the car looks like a hummer. The hummer is getting closer and closer. I can hear the men on the top of the wall shouting orders. The hummer doesn't stop. It just keeps getting closer to the wall.

Two figures came out of the windows of the moving car, then shots were fired. I'm not sure which side started it. The figures from the hummer fired at those on the wall.

Mr.Holland is as calm as ever. He's used to this, not just used to this but expects it. It happens every time he comes out here. How often if that? Mr. Holland stands there, waiting for the hummer as it gets closer to the wall. He backs up a few feet and I follow behind him. The hummer enters the tunnel, the headlights blind my eyes, I cover my eyes with a hand as what looks to be a young man leaned out the driver's seat window and hit the side of the door.

"We don't have all night, Zac." The male yells over the gunshots before pulling his head back inside the hummer.

Mr.Holland grabs my arms and pulls me towards the hummer. "Come on, kid. " He says he opens the door and pushes me in. Two other people are already there. I crawl over one of them to get to the middle.

On my right was a female with long dark hair that was braided back tightly. I can't help but check her out a bit. In the poorly lit vehicle, there wasn't much to see. I can make out her long legs and a slim body. She is paying more attention to her gun than me to notice I was looking at her.

On my left was a male, with similar traits as the woman to my right. Dark hair that hung in his eyes. He is muscularly built and was looking out the window. He held his gun pointing up against his leg as he seemed to be ready for anything.

Mr.Holland got in the passenger seat and buckled up. He looks back at me and the two beside me. "Okay, Kyle. To your right is Jasmine Gibson" the woman looks up and over to me as if she is just noticing I am there. "And to your left is Joel Allen." Mr.Holland nods his head to the boy, who just looks over and reaches out his hand to shake. "He doesn't talk."

I take his hand and shake it before he turns back to the window. The hummer starts to back up before Mr.Holland turns back around. Before long the driver put weight on the peddle and sped out of the old tunnel. The hummer backs up for a few feet before turning around and speeding away.

My nails claw into the seat of the hummer as I hold on for dear life. The diver is just as crazy and careless as Mr.Holland.

After a couple of miles, the driver's arms swung out and hit Mr.Holland in the stomach. "What the hell, Zac? Who the hell is the kid?" The boy yells at him.

Mr.Holland chuckles as he holds his stomach, leaning over. "This is Kyle Riggs. He is a student of mine." Mr.Holland says. "He more or less followed me here."

"In other words, you knew he was following but didn't bother to lose him and lead him here." The male snarls.

Holland glances away at the male driving. "Maybe," he says sheepishly

The driver sighs as he looks at Holland. "The Seeing Eyes won't like a setter in the nest, Zac." The driver looks in the rearview mirror to see me. I give a small smile and wave to let him know I can hear all that he was saying about me. He gives an evil eye Mr.Holland.

"I know, Co. But he wanted to see what outside the wall was like." Mr. Holland, Zac says in a soft voice.

"Then he can join the setter military. You don't bring him out here. Just because of what? He is your top student? Or are you doing his mother?" Co, the driver says with frustration in his voice, looking back at the dusty ground ahead of him.

Mr.Holland doesn't answer Co for a moment. "It's hard to explain."

"If you say so." Co replies

Then the whole car became silent for what felt like forever, no one side a word. Joel Allen didn't or couldn't say anything. He just looks out the window, watching the moving nothingness of the wasteland. The girl, Jasmine Gibson, just looks at the gun in her hand as she rubs a cloth over the barrel.

Mr.Holland looks over at Co. "You know, you can't stay mad at me." He chimes. If Co didn't roll his eyes, I sure did. Mr.Holland starts to poke the young man driving to someplace in the middle of nowhere.

"Zac, The Seeing Eyes are not going to be happy about a sitter coming to the neat. They already don't like you." Co points out as he turned to look at the man acting like a child.

"I know," Holland says as he holds onto the oh-shit-handle and looks away from the young male.

What can be a mile away there is a small, old looking building. The hummer starts to slow down as Mr.Holland types on the screen of the hummer's GPS, then waits for something to happen. A voice came through.

"This is Alert Hound. State your business." a female voice comes through.

"This is Glass Demon, requesting entry back into the nest. I am with Infinite Rose and Death Mustang. We are coming back from picking up Father Avalange and a lame wolf." Co replies to the voice on the other end.

There is a long pause from the voice. "You know the Seeing Eyes won't like this, right, Glass Demon?"

"I know. The lame wolf comes with Father Avalange." Co tells the voice as he looks at Holland. Holland looks away trying to play innocent.

Wait, am I the lame wolf? If Father Avalange is Holland, Glass Demon is Co, by my guess Jasmine is Infinite Rose and Joel is Death Mustang. How are these code names signed?

Alert Hound sighs "Your request is granted. Let the Seeing eyes know Father Avalage is back and has a lame wolf with him." The line goes dead as we pass the old building.

Just yards away from the old building the ground gave away and we are heading for the large hole. A panic forms in the pit of my stomach too. Light pours from the hole that formed from the ground giving away, the panic that formed was replaced with curiosity for what was happening.

I don't know what's going on or what is happening as the hummer gets closer to the light-filled hole. Instead of dropping down into the hole, there was a reap. The hummer goes down until there is a click and the hummer isn't moving but is being moved. I push myself up to get a closer look at what is going on.

There are men unlike anything in the city surrounded by the wall. No, these men had dark hair and tan skin. They watch as the hummer is lowered and put back where it belonged. I watch them before looking at Holland, who simply smiles at me and gives a soft chuckle.

As the hummer stops, everyone gets out. I follow behind Jasmine. Now in full light, I can really see her. Jasmine is the definition of beauty. Her dark hair isn't just dark, it was pitch black. Her body isn't just slim, she was in great shape. She has on a black crop top, the hem of the top hangs over her navel and shows off the abs she is working. The camo pants she has on are bagging and hanging off her hip. Her eyes are breathtaking, almost a clear blue. Her lips are full and have snake bits, only adding to her beauty.

Joel is just as good looking as Jasmine. His hair is just as black. He is clearly in great shape. The black shirt is loose on him but the muscle in his arms can easily be seen as he carefully slung the weapon open his shoulder. His pants are the same camo as Jasmine and set perfectly on his hips. The eye that isn't covered by his hair is spring green. Joel had his eyebrow pierced, two small silver spheres that sat against the skin on the corner of his eyebrow.

I look over at the driver of the hummer. Co is nothing like Joel or Jasmine. His black hair lined his neck and to keep it out of his eyes, a red bandana was tied around his head, a few locks lay on top of it. The black T-shirt fits him just right. And like Joel, Co's combat pants hung low on his hips. In his left ear, there are three silver cuffs on his cartilage, two silver spheres on his ear lobe. His right ear, two silver cuffs on his cartilage, two silver spheres on his ear lobe. A tattoo of black ink design flowed up his right arm to swirled at the base of his neck.

All of them had tanned skin. Everyone in the city was pale compared to them. They had tan skin and odd color eyes. Mr.Holland and I stood out like a sore thumb.
