The Revenge of a Broken Soul

---Warning Mature Content--- I hissed as my back was slammed against the tall walls of the castle, groaning. I kneeled over from the pain but was forced upright with a harsh yank to my hair. "Are you sure that you want to challenge a Prince, love? Do you really think that someone as broken as you is capable of forcing me to submit?" The man asked, venom basically seeping through his teeth. I could tell that he was insulted by the thought. His angry gaze made my knees weak and I could easily understand what he was trying to do. I wasn't that easy though. I switched us around, slamming him against the wall as my hand wrapped around his neck and squeezed tightly. I could tell that he was shocked by my strength. "Oh my silly, silly Prince..It's only because I am broken that I can." I growled, making him flinch and slightly slide down the wall in submission and shock. I only watched as he ineffectively tried to take in breaths of air... The Escape Pt.2

It took a moment, but I was finally able to find a pair of scissors. Unlike my own, Oliver's room was neat and vibrant looking. He had various pieces of fabric hanging from the celling, which I assumed helped him figure out where he was in the room and lead him to different areas. There was strange feeling but I ignored it. My eyebrows furrowed as something caught my eye. A shiny orb that reminded me of Oliver's bright yet dull looking eyes. I poked it curiously but was immediately shocked. It was strange. It kind of reminded me of something. I couldn't exactly put my finger on it and when I tried to think harder, it felt as if someone was repeatedly stabbing my brain. I kind of felt as if someone was purposely preventing him from remembering. I assumed that the shock was simply static and shrugged it off, heading back to my room with the scissors.

"I found them!" I said as I entered the room again. I handed the scissors to Oliver, who quietly welcomed me back. I then sat down on my bed so that the other would easily be able to navigate and cut my hair as he wanted. I was actually glad that he was blind at the moment. With each bit of hair that he cut, the color that was previously on my tips simply moved up to the newly cut ones. It didn't take long for him to finish. I was actually quite surprised at how careful he was with my hair. I somehow felt..lighter now that all of that hair was gone. As if I could hold myself up by a finger. It was almost like a full body massage. I wonder if it feels like this simply due to the fact that I'm a Amalgam.

"All done! Have a look at it. I hope that it looks as good as I imagine it does-" He mumbled out. I stood up and walked over to the mirror, my eyes widening.

"Woah.." I whispered out, not being able to help myself. I looked...amazing. My hair was cut into a pixie, and I had bangs that mimicked curtains. I wasn't even able to say anything. Of course, I'd miss my long hair but it was a bit of a pain anyway and I barely took care of it. If my dad saw this, he'd probably yell at me for 'interfering' with the ways of nature by restarting the growth of my hair.

"S-So? Do you like it?" I heard Oliver ask quietly, the silence obviously making him nervous. I simply laughed and ruffled his hair.

"Do I like it? I love it! It looks so good! I truly don't understand how you can do these things." I said excitedly as I clapped my hands together.

"Now- quickly go to your room and pack. Count your coins, and wait for me to come get you." I hummed out as I pat his shoulder a bit. Oliver nodded, pretty content with what he did to my hair and quickly left to go pack his bag. I looked through my clothes and moved to put the little amount that I had in there in the wash. I didn't want to miss a single thing so I stripped and washed those clothes as well and took a well needed bath. I wasn't as good with hygiene as Oliver or the mistress was. When I finished, I took my clothes and personal items and packed them into a bookbag. When I finished, I decided to go check on Oliver, wanting to see how his packing was going. I didn't bother knocking and simply walked inside as I always did.

"Hey Oli! How's the packing going?" I asked suddenly. He was obviously startled by this and stubbled back against his dresser, a picture frame falling off of it. I only laughed.

"Geez Lena- Y-You scared me.." He stuttered out as he placed his hand over his chest to calm down his heart. His hand moved behind his back, hiding something from me. I couldn't help but wonder what it was but I also noticed that the orb wasn't where it was earlier and assumed that he had it. I was curious about what it did but decided not to ask any questions. I don't want Oliver to see me as nosy or intrusive. I wouldn't want him to ask me a lot of questions so I wasn't going to do that to him.

"Pff- Sorry~ Here, I'll pick this up for you-" I bent down to pick up the frame, cutting myself off after seeing it. It was a picture of a blue eyed child version of Oliver and the mistress standing next to each other. Wait...didn't the both of us meet the mistress at the same time? This is definitely him....right? Now that I thought about it..how did Oliver just so happen to know where there would be supplies to fix my wound, and just so happen to know a person who could help us so quickly? If they knew each other all of the way back then, then why have they been pretending not to? I dropped the picture stumbling backwards a bit.

No...this wasn't all a trick, right? Another thing that I never really questioned...how did Oliver accumulate so many things in less than a year? Most of the things that he had were not needed for survival in the slightest. Were those baby clothes among the pile on the floor that the other had been gathering things from to pack? Wait..maybe he just so happened to get a room that was already full. That still didn't explain the picture though. My eyebrows furrowed a little bit in confusion.

"Oliver...why are you-" I wasn't able to finish my sentence as a hard object slammed against the back of my head. My eyes nearly rolled to the back of my head as my vision became blurry, hitting the ground with a loud thud. I could hear a muffled voice screaming out my name as I lost consciousness.
