32. Arrange an Invitation

At Lockhart Enterprises, the atmosphere was otherwise tense. Vivian looked around as employees were stockpiling files, doing tally in the month of November, which felt vague and obscene.

She entered the lift with her glasses on and reached the integrated office with the penthouse where angry Max was barking orders out of the blue.

He turned around to see Vivian in a red dress and a White overcoat and nodded with a frown.

"Out everyone, I don't need anyone for another forty to forty-five minutes," Max commanded, as his assistant rolled her eyes.

All the other employees left and Vivian sat on the seat opposite Max.

"Will you tell me her whereabouts or are you just here to chat?" Max asked, angry.

"I don't like your attitude." Vivian slurped through the cold coffee she bought on her way to the office.

"Oh God! Can you please get straight to the topic Vivian?" Max's agitation was topping the sky bars.
