He grabbed her ass and lifted her off the ground. Queen wrapped her legs on his waist and dived in for a kiss.

They kept on kissing and undressing each other as he carried her to his room.

~The Next Day – Empress and Lisa's Apartment~

Lisa gets up from her bed and made her way to Empress's room.

Knock!! Knock!!

She knocked on the door twice but no response from Empress.

"Don't tell me she's still sleeping" she muttered under her breathe.

Knock!! Knock!!

"Yeah?"

"Hey Empress, get your lazy ass up. It's 8 am already."

"I don't feel like going to school Lisa."

"Oh yes you do, I'm coming in." She turned the door knob and pushed the door open, what she saw made her heart ache.

Empress's eyes were all puffy and red, underneath her eye lids were dark circles. It was obvious she cried her eyes out at night and didn't get enough sleep. She sniffed and covered her head with the blanket, shielding her face from Lisa's prying eyes.

"Empress... " she started to say but fell short of words.

"Now you know why I do not want to go to school, at least not looking like this" she said from underneath the blanket.

Lisa sighed, she let go of the door handle land made her way unto Empress's bed. She hugged her friend through the blanket, resting her head on top Empress'.

"Honey, I'm sorry. Why didn't come into my room or ask me to come over? I would have cuddled and pet you all night."

"I didn't want to disturb you. Besides, I was reading a comic to take my heart off things."

"What comic were you reading Em?" There was hint of suspicion in her voice. She knew her friend loved romantic stories a lot, she just hoped she didn't venture into one of them this time.

Empress remained silent, she knew where Lisa was going with this and wasn't ready to get scolded by her best friend.

Lisa waited for two minutes but Empress remained mute, none of them saying anything. Well at least the silence did confirm Lisa's suspicion.

Her patience was gone at that last minute, she sat up and yanked the blanket off Empress' head down the lower part of her body.

"Lisa!!"

"Ohh! SK you can speak. Answer me Em, what comic did you read? Don't tell me you were reading a romance genre!? You know how fragile you are with romantic books yet... "

"Well since you know, then let me be" she said sitting up and looking into her friend's eyes.

"Em!" Her eyes held a form of affection in them as she gazed motherly at her friend. "What's the name of the comic?"

"Emm... " her gaze dropped to her fingers as she felt her cheeks heat up.

"Well?"

"I–It's... Umm... " she stuttered and fumbled played with her fingers.

Lisa arched her brows at her friend's shy behaviour, she grinned wickedly and placed a hand on top hers. "Well....?"

"His 10000 romantic traps."

"His what!??" Her eyes and mouth opened wide as she stared at her friend.

Out of all the romantic comics to read, that one was her choice! Damn was she looking for a reason to cry. Was it wishful thinking that made her go for it? Or was she that lonely that she wanted to feel her head with fantasies?

Before Lisa could say anything, bam it happened. Empress burst into another round of tears.

"Why can't I find a guy like that?" She sniffed, l "see all he did to woo her."

"Shhh, baby don't say that. You find that guy one day. In fact a lot of guys would go crazy with wanting to win your heart. Dean isn't worth it, don't chase after him and ignore Queen. Come here."

She stretched her arms wide to her friend, Empress moved in and hugged her, resting her head against her chest.

"It's gonna be alright. I would stay home with you, I won't go anywhere."

"Thanks" she said as the tears took over again and sobbed quietly, nestled against Lisa.

~Dean's Apartment~

Queen opened her eyes and met a pair staring right back at her. She curved her lips into a smile and said, "Good morning handsome."

"Morning, beauty."

He leaned in and kissed her on the lips. She returned it for some seconds before they disengaged.

"How was your night?"

"You mean the short sleep or the other part?"
