"Ugh…" Hazel couldn't hold back the urge to retch.
Even though it was a faint sound, Tristan still heard it on the other end of the phone.
"Hazel, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
"Nah, I'm fine!" Hazel swallowed hard, fighting back the nausea in her stomach.
She didn't want Tristan to know she was pregnant again, nor did she want him to worry any further!
Tristan pondered for a moment and asked with a touch of concern, "Are you really okay?"
"Hazel, no matter what happens, don't hide it from me!"
"Alright, I got it!"
"Okay, I'll head back to the City tomorrow. Should be there around eight in the evening!" said Tristan.
"Sure, want me to pick you up?"
Tristan asked worriedly, "Is that convenient for you?"
"No worries! It's totally fine." Hazel feigned composure.
"Alright then! See you tomorrow!"
"Okay, see you!"
Hazel quietly ended the call.
