It didn't make sense that I had been the only one to rush out to go check up on our daughter! I kept staring back, hoping Derek would appear behind me. But he kept on talking to his fucking ex wife??
I made my way back towards our room after finding out that Nina was alright. "Stupid nanny, I hate that woman. What kind of play is that with my baby!" I didn't regret slapping her twice. Who cared if she was crying? Even though she was old enough to be my mother, who gave her the permission to play with my daughter with her germs hands!
The thought dawned on me just now, now I needed to speak to fucking Donavan. Why was he calling me even after I'd told him not to! Just because he was my ex boyfriend didn't give him the permission to disturb me like that!
