The Meet Up

The next morning Fernando woke at 5:30am to get his day started, he took his morning shower, brushed his teeth, washed his face, and started cooking breakfast for his family.

"What's that smell?" Wondered Katy sniffing the air. Katy walked down stairs to find her dad cooking.

"Good morning princess." Fernando said smiling.

"Good morning dad." Replied Katy, "What are you cooking, smells good."

"Just a little sausage, eggs, bacon, and toast, sit down have a seat."

Fernando and Katy set the table for breakfast and fixed everyone plate.

"I'll go wake up your mother sit and eat before your bus comes." Fernando stated.

Fernando walked up stairs to wake Lisa.

"Lisa wake up sweetie I cooked breakfast so we can eat as a family to start the day." Whispered Fernando.

"I'll be down in a minute." Replied Lisa.

Once awake Lisa brushed her teeth, washed her face, and headed downstairs.

"Smells good who cooked?" Asked Lisa.

"Dad did THIS time and it's actually good." Katy laughed.

"I can cook when I feel like it I'm just excited today." Fernando replied.

Once breakfast was over Katy left for school.

Fernando made sure Katy got on the bus and started back smiling.

"What are you looking like that for honey?" Lisa asked.

"I am going to meet Mr. Gee today."

"No I told you he is creepy and dangerous I'm coming with you until I get home." Lisa yelled.

Later that day Fernando went to meet Mr. Gee by himself.

"Hey Mr. Gee," Yelled Fernando.

"Come on into my office Mr.Smith," Replied Mr. Gee with his rough scratchy voice.
