In the year of 2060, a billion people eagerly joined a cutting-edge virtual reality game that mirrored real life. However, after logging in, they discovered a shocking truth: they couldn't log out. This wasn't a glitch but a deliberate feature, plunging the game into chaos. The only ways to escape were to beat the game, die in the virtual world, or take their own lives, risking death in reality. Amidst this turmoil, a unique young boy, who seemed misplaced in this world, stood out. Driven by an insatiable thirst for power since childhood, he possessed immense knowledge, strength, and survival skills. This story delves into the challenges faced by someone with unparalleled capabilities in a foreign world and explores the contrast between ordinary individuals, some confined to their rooms, and someone who has honed themselves to be the most capable and strongest. In this unforgiving virtual realm, life took on a brutal and unpredictable nature. The contrast between the ordinary, civilized life they once knew and the harsh reality of a world teeming with monsters was stark. Normal concerns were replaced by constant vigilance, as any moment could bring peril or the loss of a loved one. The once-comfortable routines of everyday life were shattered, replaced by the relentless struggle for survival. Gone were the days of secure homes and predictable schedules. Now, every step held the potential for a life-or-death encounter with the monstrous inhabitants of this digital realm.

His First Meal

What he saw was not just a small rip and a couple of broken bones. The entirety of the left leg was now fully gone just a couple of meters from where it was before the giant bear fell. A big portion of the bear's flesh was also missing from its body and all that was left of the left front side was a bone sticking out, covered in blood. The giant bear had already died. He stood there in shock, at what feats of strength he had accomplished in the span of only two days. Even though the technique basically did everything for him, without that ridiculous strength of his, he wouldn't get anywhere near his results. "I think I might have overdone myself a little." Velios said after calming himself down. He slowly walked up to the giant bear's body to find the missing piece of flesh and muscle that he managed to rip off and once he found it, he sat himself beside it and prepared himself, because it was going to get really messy.

He took a grip with both of his hands lower down on the leg, around the ankle and put it in between his legs so that he could begin to savor the reward of his hard fought battle. He opened his mouth wide and took a big bite out of the meaty part, it tasted awful, and it didn't help the taste that it was hard worked for. Uncooked bear meat has a microscopic parasite called Trichinella. If I were to consume this bacteria it could lead to Trichinellosis, also called Trichinosis which symptoms are as followed: diarrhea, abdominal cramps, nausea and vomiting. That would probably not be in my favor if I would have to take a longer break from training. Velios thought about the facts and with all of that in mind, he kept on eating and didn't stop. Building a resistance to poison and disease was one of the things Velios did to try and become the ultimate human. So something like this was completely normal for someone like him, but the question is, is it the same level of severity here as in his old world or is it even worse? Well, only time could tell as he kept on eating the first food in 2 days and he still hasn't found any water. Even though he was used to going without it for long periods of time, his body needed it to heal so that he could train even harder. But that had to wait for another day, because his body decided to fall asleep again barely a minute after he was done eating.

Velios woke up once again, feeling refreshed for once. The dark and starry filled sky was still there which at least meant he wasn't asleep for too long. He removed the small piece of flesh and fur that was still left from the piece he ate. He got up on his feet with relative ease and felt light in the body for once. The meat may have been uncooked but the protein and fats were doing him good in terms of energy. He didn't really have a plan since all he's been doing is training and he probably won't stop for a while either. It was then he got a brilliant idea. "What if i skin the bear and have it around my head and upper body as a souvenir!"

He started picturing what he would look like walking around with a bear pelt around his upper body. It could also act as a disguise for the future. To even survive, he had to find creative ways to hide himself which had sort of become a habit of him collecting any type of clothing or just anything that could cover his appearance in general. Velios life outside had been quite different from most and he had to stay hidden for long periods at a time.

But for his idea, he knew exactly what he was going to do to achieve it, but first, he needed to find water and not just any type of water, but a river. So he thought of it as a perfect opportunity to test out his new agility and push it to the absolute limit. He was going to train a few things while searching for the river. Velios is going to strain all his senses to their maximum, going to jump, swing, sprint and more to test out the optimal movement way. When and if he finds water, he's going to set up a temporary camp until he can return back to the bear.

So with all that in mind, he started sprinting, jumping up to the trees, jumping and swinging between them. Some of his footsteps took off with so much power that it even left marks on his surroundings. He continued doing that for what he thinks is atleast over an hour before his ears picked up on a sound, the sound of flowing water. Velios immediately turned to the direction of the sound and ran there as fast as he could. Velioss face turned into a big smile when he finally saw it. The first water since he came to this world was right in front of him, casually flowing down the river. But he had a problem that he couldn't seem to solve. He had his plan ready and the actual weapon part done which meant that he could begin to walk back to the bear. "Which way did I come from now again?"
