Heavenly Realm

Velios felt as if something different was happening than usual. He was accustomed to the feeling of being teleported, but he had no idea what was happening now. Was the distance too far for him to teleport? Did something go wrong, or was it so far away that even teleportation had a cooldown, or was it so far away that the mana he had wasn't even enough? He didn't know. It felt like he was moving at a tremendous speed, yet he didn't know what was happening. He wasn't even sure if he was actually moving or if he was trapped. It was like he could see the space moving around him, and it felt surreal. It was as if he was traveling through space or something else. Velios couldn't even describe the emotions or the situation he was now inside and feeling. Velios looked over to see Shiva still on his shoulder, barely holding on as he had almost passed out multiple times due to motion sickness. Any person would normally get worried, but Velios wasn't really all that concerned. Everything he was seeing, feeling, and much more was completely new to him.

It reminded him of space, just because of the rare and beautiful colors he witnessed. There was a lot of purple and pink mixed together with lighter and darker shades of multiple other colors, with darkness in the empty positions. Velios couldn't help but be shocked and in awe at the mere sight of it. He didn't even know what it was. "Shiva, do you know where we're going?" Velios looked over to his shoulder to see the cat puking once again. "What do you mean?! You're the one who forced me to come along, you dumbass!" Velios hit him on the head. "Should I just throw you off or something?" Velios threatened Shiva, but the scary thing was that he most likely would do it. Velios turned to face forwards again, noticing that the speed he was traveling at had suddenly increased. Velios noticed that he was approaching something huge, but he didn't know what it was. It was as if something was blocking his way to the target that he was trying to reach, but he decided that he had no other way to get there but to break through whatever it was.

Velios could feel it as his body broke through whatever was in the way. It seemed like he had arrived at his destination at roughly the exact same time as when he broke through whatever kind of wall or barrier it was. Velios stood up and looked around at where he was, but to his confusion, he didn't seem to be in the same world anymore. It was still a game, yes, but it just felt so different. The atmosphere was nothing like the one down below. The oxygen felt a hundred percent pure, all of his surroundings were white. Velios fully stood up and looked around to see what kind of place it truly was. There were clouds everywhere, filling the scenery with the soft and bouncy ground, which also seemed to be made of clouds. The ground was really tangible, and you could easily change it to form any shape you would like. Velios only decided to play around with it for a short while before realizing that he had got distracted. Even if he did get distracted, Shiva was still the slower one, as he was still barely conscious because of his motion sickness. "You know we have to take the same way backward?" Shiva hadn't realized until now that he would truly die if he went back the same way.

Velios proceeded to walk and take his time as he scouted the area, not knowing if there even is more stuff or if it was just a bunch of clouds. "Do you think we're in heaven?" Velios asked Shiva, for no particular reason than wanting to hear his opinion on where he thought they were. "Are you stupid? How could both of us have died in the first place?" Shiva was still motion sick from before and was still not fully recovered. "But didn't you also feel like we broke something? Or at least that we crashed into something?" Velios asked a good question, and just as Shiva was about to answer, he couldn't. Shiva had thought at first that it was an easy question, but he didn't even know what to say. He did feel them bumping into something which is definitely correlating with something here. Even after ten minutes of walking, Velios has still been unable to find whoever it was that had cast that weird energy from before, and he was unsure if he was going to find it at all. Just as Velios thought that, he could begin to hear sounds coming from a direction far away, and when he did turn his head, he was amused to hear a voice.

Velios had finally appeared at his desired location just a few minutes later. The curiosity that dwelled inside of him wanted to find out what kind of person it was that could control such energy. As he had arrived, he was still tens of meters away, standing, looking up at the building in front of him in awe. It was the sort of building that you would see in Rome hundreds of years ago or the kind of buildings they'd keep as a memory. They had the typical marble pillars, the square shape, and the roof which meets at a line at the top. In total, there were multiple ruins of other such buildings scattered around, but there was only one who remained undamaged. On top of one of the ruins, a figure could be seen, sitting atop a single part of a wall, completely unaware of what was happening just below a couple of meters away. Velios was immediately intrigued by the individual's presence as he started slowly running towards them. But, despite his curiosity, the face of the individual was something he had not expected, and he, therefore, stopped right in his tracks. The individual's face, covered in ecstasy, sat there atop, watching something while having an explicitly lascivious look on their face.

The individual sitting atop was obviously watching something, but Velios was weirded out by their openly showing of their emotions. Their face was completely red, and they even had their tongue sticking out, breathing as if they were some kind of dog. It was clear that it wasn't any form of normal excitement that the individual was feeling. What the person was showing was more pointed towards that of desire or sexual interest. The person was also completely caught up in whatever they were watching to the point where noticing even Velios would be a hard task. It took almost a full minute of Velios just standing there before the individual noticed that anyone else was there, and when they did, their face expression turned to be embarrassed as their cheeks got even redder. "H-how dare you interrupt me?! Wait- a human? What is a human doing here in the heavenly realm?" The individual was confident with each word but also pretty softly spoken with a light voice. "And is that... a demon? No, it doesn't possess a physical body yet... You, child!"

Velios got shocked over the fact that the individual was actually talking to him. "Huh? Me?" Velios responded, trying to shout loud enough so that they would hear him. "You seem to merely be a lost boy who has accidentally ended up in the heavenly realm. Jump through that portal if you want to continue to heaven, my child. I'll look away from the sin you have committed if you decide to leave alone!" The individual talked highly about himself, and from what Velios could hear, the individual was probably used to similar kinds of authority. A small portal had opened in the clouds two meters in front of him. "No, I didn't die; I came here so that I could find the person wielding-" "I will only say it this once more, that majin is trying to manipulate and take over your body; jump through that portal and get out of here at once, do you understand me?" Velios got interrupted in the middle of his sentence and completely ignored. "I, the goddess of this heavenly realm, Freya, will allow you to leave! I will disregard your sin because you are innocent. The Majin trying to control you will not take control over you as long as you're in heaven."

Velios didn't know how to react. She was not human, but a goddess named Freya; she has the exact magic he wants but he would rather die than have to train under someone as arrogant as her. Velios was stuck and didn't know what he would do. After a lot of thinking, Velios had eventually realized the best course of action. He had promised to try and better himself to be more 'human,' but it seems like his old side was still the superior one. "Freya, was it?" Velios asks it, staring into her blue eyes. "What does a lowly human like you think you are doing talking to a goddess like me so casually?" Freya looked down upon Velios since she couldn't sense any redeeming qualities. It was the reason why she thought he was a lost child, after all. A body which looked skinny and fragile compared to most adult humans, mana so weak that it was hard enough to sense it, probably not even enough to cast spells with. "I want to learn holy magic!" Velios only option was to be direct with her, and if that didn't work, he would have to sort it out with a battle.

"You think I'd learn the most holy, the strongest, the most supreme magic to a mere human brat such as you. Do you even think that you were worthy enough to even be able to use holy magic and the 'divine punishments'? And how would a human boy even know about it in the first place?" Freya had gathered her suspicions but she had other stuff she would rather think about. She didn't want to waste any of her time and would rather just push the human down the portal to actually force him. "Don't think that just because you are a man means that I will help you! You are still a weak human who could never hope to achieve holy magic, and even if you had it, you would be too weak to use it on anything." Freya really didn't want to spend any more time than she had to and had decided to physically force the two of them away. "It's such a shame. Is your holy magic indestructible? Can you use it infinitely?" Velios was genuinely curious. Freya didn't even bother to answer in a full sentence and therefore only nodded and said 'Yes.' Velios looked up with a bright yet wicked smile on his face. "That means I get to use my full power!"
