48 _ The Forbidden Palace .

Mizuki was proud of her efforts. So far things had progressed and she was almost on the verge of freedom. Hua Jun and Li Ying was more than delighted with her plans and aided her in many ways than possible, to giving her information about the Forbidden palace. Ai Feng was more difficult of the two to persuade due to her loyal insistence to Dai Fang but was eventually brought to see reason.

The Forbidden Palace had been created out of pure magic by Dai Fang in order to conceal his location from any enemy , real or perceived as well as added a cloaking spell to obfuscate his Palace to any wanderer or threat.

Min Ya laughed lightly to herself as she heard the plans being made knowing that that they would be futile. Still she detested Dai Fang for forcing her to bend this low , to spy on them but she could do nothing about it because she was his servant, bound by him , body and soul.

She hoped that one day , Dai Fang would discard all other women in his life and take her and her only as his dual cultivating partner. She would reign by his side till eternity.

Dai Fang was in the Hall of Dark Divinity sitting in a lotus like pose as he quietly meditated, in the process cultivating the Qi essence that he had earlier obtained from Ai Feng and Li Ying.

He sighed as he sensed Min Ya's presence approaching his Chamber. He had told her that he needed not to be disturbed but that was also a sign she came bearing information that was of interest.

She made no move to speak and silence reigned for the time being, feeling the weight of the Devil King's presence, a heavy and darkened aura filling the room.

"What do you want?!" He addressed curtly.

She knelt on the ground behind him and bowed her head to the floor in obseiance to her master before speaking.

"I did as you commanded me Dai Fang." Min Ya said as she rose. "The girl that you've brought to the Palace is planning an escape and has been able to convince Ai Feng , Hua Jun and Li Ying to come against you and join her , something I , your loyal servant can never do.

Dai Fang smirked to himself. So Mizuki was able to convince his other women to side against him , even Ai Feng that he had thought she could not be easily swayed and was firm in her allegiance to him.

People could so easily change in an instant.

But he had a back up plan in place for little inconveniences like this. Dai Fang decided that he would let this little game play out. He wanted to see her in action , know her hidden potentials and ultimately watch her fail.

He moved sedately towards Min Ya and gripped her body with one hand , bringing her closer to him. She moaned in pleasure as he put his tongue again at her nape , tasting her body , feeling the taste of her flesh. Now that all others have been branded as traitors , she would be the only one left. Things could not work out better than that.

"Min Ya my Faithful Slave." Dai Fang whispered in her ear as his hand slid underneath her robes and slowly caressed her pink pearl and her eyes shut tightly taking in the marvellous sensations washing over her.

Her eyes widened in shock as gasped for breath. Blood seeped out from the sides off her mouth as she clutched her master with bulging eyes , her body near immediate death.

He was staring down at her with loathing in his eyes, darkness lurking behind them as he retrieved his hand from her chest, taking out her heart.

"Why..." Min Ya gasped her words. "How could you..."

"The moment you questioned me My dear Min Ya , you lost your value. Questioned once, an uprising comes next , I should know and Particularly do not like taking risks." He looked down at her and added wistfully. It is truly a shame though. You possessed such a delectable body . But You have served your purpose." Dai Fang muttered in her ear as he released his hold on her , letting her fall to her knees. Min Ya knew what was coming next , what she had seen happen to so many others.

"Please Dai Fang ..." She murmured . "I have done everything you have asked of me. I can still aid you ..."

He cupped her face in his hand and smiled as markings emerged and obscured half of his entire being . "You are still aiding me Min Ya. But don't worry I shall make it painless."

"I thought you loved me?!!" She cried.

"Love?" He scoffed as he looked down at her. "I do not care for anyone apart from myself , never will I ever care."

Dai Fang placed his forefinger against her forehead And began to absorb her life force as her body began disintegrating into dust until all that remained of her was a pile of ashes that was carried away by a gust of wind.

He returned back to his circle and resumed his earlier position and continued his

cultivation and harnessing of his energies.

She was nothing more than a pawn in his own twisted game.
