46_ Hostile Territory.

She had been kept in his dungeon for three days without food or water. Dai Fang was intent on lowering her pride and teaching her a lesson she would not soon forget. She was now a common slave, his slave and she had better confirm to that reality.

Dai Fang knew she was a strong one , and that she would be harder to break than the others. But soon she would submit to his will , her only desire to live with be for him and he would finally harvest her Pure Yin essence.

Mizuki felt a hand on her shoulder shaking her back to life. She raised her eyelids and saw that it was Dai Fang that was before her. In his hands was a tray of dumplings and a bowl of water as she had been commanded by her master to give to Mizuki.

He had wanted to assist her in getting to her feet , but she recoiled from his touch and moved away from him. Her lush dark hair was now in a mess as

"Here" Dai Fang said in a rather impetuous manner. "Eat and replenish your energy."

She used her fair leg to push the tray away from her, scattering and spilling all the contents on the floor.

With all the women he had captured this had never happened. All usually fave into his command due to their unreserved terror of him or simply just to still be kept alive. Angered by her behaviour and obvious disrespect for him , Dai Fang seized her , holding up her chin, forcing her to gaze into his eyes.

"When I tell you to eat, You eat. When I summon you to my Chambers , you must please me. Whatever I tell you to do , You will do ." He spoke with his dark voice thick with intimidation.

"I will never do anything for you , You Devil!" Mizuki cursed, pulling on her chains . "If you wish , lock me up for days , months, years....I will be rescued by my father." She spat on his face. "But I will never submit to you."

Dai Fang rose and gave her a smack across her face then shot her condescending look. "You Arrogant woman. Maybe a few more days in this prison, will teach you to be subservient."

He left , shutting the metal door behind him. Mizuki crawled back into her dark corner , shivering and hoping not only for warmth but to be saved from the clutches of the Devil King.

On the fifth day , the metal door creaked opened once again. Mizuki by now was in a near death state. She felt her self being risen to her feet and someone bear her weight. Slowly, she was moved out of the dungeons, through a series of darkened halls. The walls were broken , the windows cracked , every glass on sight was shattered in a kind of rage.

"You are burning up." The girl holding her said as she placed her hand on Mizuki's neck , feeling her rising temperature.

"Oh poor thing." Min Ya sighed. "If she just submits her body to Dai Fang , all this torment would end."

They led her into a chamber and stripped her of her clothes. Directing her , Mizuki placed one foot in the water and then the other . She shook , the moment the freezing water touched her hot skin. Min Ya motioned for the other girl to depart, while she combed her fingers through Mizuki's hair and soothed her.

"Please let me go." Mizuki spoke underneath her breath, too low for anyone not in that particular place to hear but clear enough for this woman that was washing her to understand.

"How can I let you go if I am not the one holding you?" Min Ya smiled. "I was once like you. The Daughter of a renowned war General , Mun Chen. My Father was a great man and I as his child was looked upon with fear and respect. That was until Dai Fang attacked my kingdom. He demanded that for the Kingdom to be spared, an offering must be made into him. I was chosen , a great honor to be sacrificed for my people and he accepted , sparing my Kingdom. At first , I resisted him , not willing to give in

but in the end I yielded and was given the opportunity to be...."

The other lady from earlier came up and bowed her head before the lady that was speaking. Min Ya scowled at the interruption and then spoke in a harsh tone.

"What do you want?!"

"I am sorry to interrupt Min Ya but Dai Fang demands your presence."

The girl departed and Min Ya arose. She was about to depart but stopped, turning back. "So It is in your best interest to end all resistance and hope and succumb to Dai Fang because one way one or the other..." Min Ya gave her a cold grin , even more icy than the freezing water. "You get the idea."

She left , leaving Mizuki in her thoughts. She had a strong feeling that she was not particularly liked. It made no matter, since she already had a plan in mind to escape.

But for that , she muttered putting on the robes left beside her and securing them tightly around her.

She needed to know her territory a bit more.
