Two hours and a few minutes later, Kaden was at the doorstep of his former house. He noticed that the street was quieter than usual, that even Storm's house was eerily calm. It was like a zombie town at day time. There was nothing in sight.
What had happened in the two days I was absent from here? Did the plague occur? He wondered, tuning the knob of the front door.
There was a creak sound before it opened up. He walked in slowly into the house, his eyes running a marathon tro and fro, to every corner of the sitting room. There was no life in sight.
