UNTITLED CHAPTER

"I heard what you guys said last night". It was Ramon who said these, he was talking to his companion Zamiel as they both stood there behind the scene. The leaned on the carriage, at the other side of the camp, where all they could see was the horizon and the beauty the land beheld. They were behind the scene, where the others were busy preparing for their departure.

" I heard what you said to her". Continued Ramon, averting his gaze away from the nature's view. He rotated his head to the side to catch a glimpse of his partner's facial expression that seems to be an everlasting and never changing one.

"Are you really going to call the physician?, You know she doesn't need a doctor right?". He returned his gaze back to where it was -staring straight ahead, after finishing his speech.

" You don't need to tell me what I know". He heard the statue man speak back to him for the first time, making a smirk paint it's way to his pretty face but the way he said it was as if he was stating the fact.

"So what are you going to do?, Call a physician?". Ramon muttered, criticizing his friend, still not averting his face away from where he was starting at.

" I'm sure you are aware that I don't spit words for no reason". Responded Zamiel, sparing his companion a glance by looking sideways only to be welcomed by his annoying smile that usually pisses anybody off. He averted his gaze away since it was welcomed by something unreasonable. He was expecting a serious and collected expression but turned out he thought too highly of his friend.

"I know that. It's your fault though". Replied Ramon. " You know that". He added. He was actually expecting Zamiel to spare him an extra glance and abandon the view before him but instead, he did none of that and acted as if he heard no one speaking. He stared at his friend with his annoying and dashing smile on his face.

She slept again. She thought after yesterday's nap she would have to do a sleep over where she has to have little sleep and start awake. For her, she already had the sleep, all that was left for her was to stay awake with no partner. But it wasn't so boring as she thought it would be, cause Zamiel accompanied her or the main time before he saw her back to her tent.

She crawled on her butt, making her way to the entrance of the tent where the sun's reflection peeked through.

She shut her eyes and opened them slightly trying to adapt to its piercing reflection . She had to put her hand in front of her forehead as a shield against the blinding light just to adapt to it.

She doesn't even know where to go or what to do. She made her way to the carriage to prepare her clothes- The one she was going to wear through out today. She has to get herself ready to have her wet towel bath. Maybe it wasn't as bad as she thought; it's just wet towel to mop the body and then change into a clean clothe.

She exited the carriage with her toothbrush and mouthwash. She went to the back of the carriage with a water bottle in her hand.

**********

She could have sworn yesterday's sleep

was unnatural because right now she was falling asleep once more and on top of the horse, she was pretty sure she had an eye bag with how puffy her eyes felt. She was pretty sure she wasn't bitten by tsetsefly for her to be sleeping like a pregnant lady. She would have thought she was pregnant if they already consummated their marriage, but no they haven't and she isn't sure if they would ever. But Still, why was she feeling drowsy as hell and....and weak. Her thoughts blacked out and her sight turned blurry as she looked down at her hands that were turning limp. She was pretty sure she was leaning against Zamiel but who cares when there's sleep.

*******

She opened her eyes, rubbing it with the back of palm while yawning. She stared ahead and saw they were still on their horse and it was still morn.

Thank goodness she didn't fall asleep like a pig. She quickly adjusted her sitting posture that looked and felt and looked disorganized. She sat up straight, leaning against his hard, sturdy, and warm chest while holding on to the reins. She didn't forget about their horse ride training that doesn't seem to be moving forward than these. She rolled her eyes at the thought of just holding on to a rein and just doing nothing. She looked ahead at the rest who were quite some distance away from where they were. She stared at all of them, looking at how they rode and how some of them interacted.

("Wait a minute. Something feels missing, something feels not right "). She thought inwardly with her eyebrows knitting themselves. She looked ahead again, counting the numbers of the people riding ahead of them. She counted them again and again and her eyes widened with realisation. 'How could she have forgotten such an important detail and person?, How?. If she were to forget somebody, it shouldn't be someone as talkative as Ramon. Where was he anyway?.

*****

Zamiel?, Did we perhaps forgot something?". She asked, trying to reveal her question in bits and pieces.

" No. Why?". He responded with another question.

"Because Mr Avi seems to be missing among those riding ahead". She finally stated the reason why she asked the question.

" He isn't missing, he was sent on an errand". He replied to her question which she was curious about and trying to twist.

"Errand?. What type of errand, at the middle of nowhere". She criticised, furrowing her brows at him, even though he couldn't see her she did it anyway.

" To get you a physician". His voice vibrated through his chest as he responds to her answer.

"Oh". She mouthed, her mouth forming an O. She went quiet with her confusion being cleared and there was nothing else for her to say anymore. " When will he be back?". She asked her last question, probably the last one for the day.

But her question didn't sit quite well with Zamiel as his never changing expression twitched at her words. His unfading, stiff, and stagnant expression changed into a disapproving look or maybe anger.

"Tomorrow. Why'd you ask?, You need anything?. His calm and smooth voice vibrated through his chest, sending shivers down her spine before it made its way out of his lips, echoing behind her ear.

" Nothing, was just asking, that's all". She managed to answer, gulping down her spit due to the impact of his voice alone.

"Okay if you say so". He responded, everywhere turning silent as he replied to her answer.

*******

" Isn't there any other thing for me to do than just holding on to the reins as you ride". She spat out when the couldn't handle it anymore. She was starting to melt with the boring life she has been living for the past four days now. She couldn't hold it any longer, it was just too much for her to handle.

"Like what?". He asked, answering her with a question.

" Like me not doing anything but holding on to the horse's reins while you ride". She responded nonchalantly. Her eyes widened with what she just said, she bit down on her lower lip, venting her frustration on it, almost hurting herself but her common sense was still there so she didn't hurt herself. She can't believe she just spoke to the crown prince of a whole kingdom like that!. If she was in her real world she wouldn't mind but she wasn't, so she had to follow the rules If these realm.

It was considered as rude for a mere princess like her to speak to the future I King of a kingdom like that.

*********

Everywhere went silent after that reply she gave him, as if he was offended with the type of response she gave him. She was sure he was staring at her head right now with his unchanging expression. She shut her eyes, taking a deep long breath before opening her eyes to get herself ready for what was coming next.

"My apologies for the way I spoke to his Majesty". She apologised as she imagined an elegant person apologises to a person with his status. She shut her eyes to beach herself for his next reply. She was very uncomfortable with the way she just spoke right now. She apologised to him like how those ancient royalties she saw in the movies she watched.

She opened her eyes at the next word that echoed behind her ears.

" For what?". He questioned with his usual voice that was always soothing to the soul.

"The way I spoke to you?". She responded with her eyebrows raised. (Is this guy trying to toy with me?). She thought within her , her thoughts showing clearly on her smooth chubby face.
