The Quest

At 15 Mark sets out to find out the truth about himself. Who am I? This question keeps roaming around his mind and sends flashes of thoughts he can barely remember. He packs some clothes, fills his water bottles, and packs some food. Before the first servant steps down from the bed, Mark has long left the house. No one notices that he is gone until midway when he doesn't report for his first meal.

Heading in an unknown direction, Mark is confident to find peace or better still life better than that in the castle. His confidence leads him into the woods and he navigates to a point where he can barely make out his way in. He starts hearing strange sounds, one of them being a female voice, calling him not to give up on the search. Each time he feels lost, the voice calls his attention in a particular direction. He walks for four good days and nights and finally reaches a hut. Who can be living in this lonely creepy place? He asks himself. Let's find out.
