The Empty Throne

I walked in a room with Gale muttering to himself. He pointed at a Tiger's statue while hugging me and said it moved. I thought that his overactive imagination was triggered due to how ancient the house looked and the antics it had. I hugged and comforted him but he still seemed petrified of the statue.

He was clinging to my waist when the others came in. I told them quietly that he had imagined things again which was not a surprise since Gale does think that aliens and superheroes that have laser eyes exist. Everyone got the gist of what had happened and my aunt picked him up and took him away while consoling him. I like kids but I am not good at dealing with them.

I suddenly felt a chill go down my spine. *Low growls* I turned around and saw nothing. I searched for what I had heard but there was nothing there but the tiger's statue. I remembered Gale mentioning that it was alive but that was impossible, right? Mimi called out to me so that we could go and settle down. I was so tired and excited that I forgot all about the incident that had happened.

I climbed up the stairs to the first floor where my room is. I touched the railing and felt an indescribable familiarity. I went up to the three-way intersection of the stairs and saw the beautiful stained glass window. It was of an empty throne. The throne was hauntingly gorgeous. It seemed to attract me.

It was a lavish throne of sharp metallic, blade-like structures. It was black in colour with a faint hue of red and gold. In place of a carpet there was a river that glowed and was of a sparkling red. The ground surrounding it was shining and green. It had tall trees that had crystals instead of leaves. It was positioned wonderfully. When the sun would rise the place where it would beam was just above where the rulers head would be. In a word it was a masterpiece.

After admiring the artistic window I climbed the stairs to my right and went on to settle down in my new room. The room was fantastic. It had a large queen size bed. It had side tables and each had a lamp. The room was royal and perfect. It had a huge closet space and a stylish bathroom. The whole bedroom had an aristocratic atmosphere.

My room looks nothing like it but the castle felt more like home than my real house. I felt a sense of belonging, as if something I had forgotten was just at the tip of my tongue. It was an exhausting trip to this palace so after placing all my stuff where I wanted I went into the cozy bed and went into a deeper and most comfortable sleep I had ever had. I felt at peace.

In the night when everyone was deep asleep the stained glass window had changed. On the throne sat a queen. She had wavy red and black hair. Her snow white complexion and blood red lips along with her sharp claws was magnificent. She wore a dark dress and had large wings with razor-sharp blades on its ends.

This was The Queen Of Hell.
