Chapter 19: The Team

According to Ten hag, the major reasons for Manchester United problem across the years is not particularly the fault of mismanagement rather it is caused by the current state of football.

It can be seen that the difference between players in small team and big teams has been brought to the lowest possible level due to the systematic training all professional players received from a very young age which means that take a midfielder for example most core Midfielders of a middle level team can boast 80-85% accuracy on passes in 30 yards while a world class player has above 90% in that range and can boast 80% for distances more than that, but unfortunately when the middle team meets the top team with a world class defender they tend to use.a rather defensive tactics meaning his long passes are useless.

A winger in a big team can always beat his man most of the time, but unfortunately even a small/middle level team has wingers that can beat their man about 5 times in a game. Now how does a big team win.

It is now the work. of the head coach to create tactical awareness and the love for teamwork in his players using their innate technical advantage alongside tactical superiority to create a scenario whereby we are always outnumbering our opponents as well as working together to better our opponents.

And from there is where the main basis of his tactics come from. The Total Football; the essence of it is using the the whole team to create an awareness in the players to use all their advantages to get the better of their opponents. This majorly refer to what people call all attack all defense, whereby all players are required to do their parts in the teams attack be it being a passing option or helping attract defenders attention and this create space or just being there.

The forwards as well are required to help the team defend starting from pressing high immediately the ball was lost or falling back to help defend when ball was not won back immediately.

This set of tactics have a very high requirement in both the physical and technical level of the players to play, so a lot of support are needed from all members of the club so we can perform efficiently.

Contrary to general belief, the owner of the club is not just to be there, my job as the owner and a member of the management is to help the team to create a perfect workplace for the players whereby they are able to put all their focus on the coaches' instructions and trying their absolute best for the team.

Relationship with the Press especially paparazzis, training equipments, medical facilities, state of the pitch and other stadium's Infastructure, mode of transportation to match and the players housing & hotel during match, holidays, psychological and emotional supports especially taking care of their families and making them feel the club is home.

These are just a part of the supports required by the players and it is my duty as the owner of the club that all these are provided for the players. Helping a player to be at their possible best is even harder than building a castle in Arab since the mental age of most of these players are not that high so they literally have to be nannied.

While we do ensure that the players at the club are happy, that does not means we should be callous when required, a great club has to know when to recycle players, failure to do that means a team will be full of old legends who despite loving the club is no longer in the physical state to help the club, when there are players who does not meet the club requirements irrespective of who he is, be it an academy graduates or whoever he should be allowed to leave the club.

On the talk of support, fitting the gyms and other Infastructure in the club for all tiers have been completed, the stadium pitch has been done to fit the coaching staffs requirements, the board of directors has been overhauled and reformed and more power has been given to the sporting director, a newly appointed director of Football (Micheal Edwards) and the head coach while working with our newly built Meena data center.

The CEO of the club is now dealing majorly with the clubs revenue. TeamViewer our chest sponsor has reached agreement with the club to terminate their contract and immediately a new sponsor was gotten signing on a £100 million first year deal for five years with a 20% increase every year as well as some performance bonuses for example £50 million for champions League, £40m for premier league, £20m for the FA cup, £75m for any treble and £100m for the treble.

We are planning to renovate the stadium, to be completed in two years to modernize the stadium while expanding it's capacity and not losing what makes old Trafford OLD TRAFFORD.

Our plan is to create a Nobel and Great team while not losing the familiarity and love that makes Manchester United the most loved club in the world.
